There’s no doubt we’re in a terrible rut, but anyone would have to agree that injuries have severely impacted our ability to perform to our previous standards.

I don’t know what the expectations of the board were at the beginning of the season, but I’m sure they escalated when we sat pretty in the top six for most of it. Shame they didn’t give the extra push in January, but I guess we always have an eye on the books.

I’m still not firmly in the camp of getting rid of MW. People seem to be interpreting / reinterpreting his comments as fits their personal views. For me, yes he’s made some bad decisions, but he’s also made a lot of good ones too over time. It’s only my opinion, but I’d give him another season (duck all the flying cow pats here).

As for comments about fans. Come on, fans are fickle - we all are, we can turn on a pin head. He’s being cautious and well aware that keyboard warriors are out there calling for his head, neck and jewels. Comes with the job.

It’s been an up and down season. Will we have a better opportunity for the play-offs? I don’t know. I’d be surprised if we suffer a big loss of our good players in the off-season (as most of them have an injury). Maybe we’ll be in fairly good shape next season along with a few new additions to improve us. Here’s hoping!

We go round in circles on this a bit.
In my opinion the problems started well before the injury problems and so I don't see injuries as a valid enough reason to keep him. Also, criticising the fans for bei g critical of him when we're on this run is a no no imo.
However, if Dykes was on the cards, I'd keep Warbs in a heartbeat.

Let's hope things improve later anyway.

Dyche will be back in a job by next November at the latest, with whoever starts next season poorly in the PL. I don’t think we need to worry about him turning up in W12, unless a championship club promises him a stupid amount of money to keep and to spend on players.

The stupidest thing I think I have ever ever ever seen on Twitter this am, and it was gathering a few "Truthsayers"
Dyche and Warburton set to change jobs...to keep Burnley up and kick start our playoff chances.

Whatever they were on, I would like some...scrub that...No I wouldn't
