But the country managed it in WW II
But we're not in a war - as PNP says. Ukraine and Russia are in a war.
The rest of the world is doing photo ops and sitting back doing the square root of **** all, while a sovereign nation gets eradicated.
Yep - that's just the quality of leadership that the UK cannot afford to lose right now...<doh>
****ing Tory ****s. <grr>

The Tory alternatives are ****ing shocking, too. Awful cabinet.
This goes all the way back to when Cameron was LOTO

Usually a LOTO has a shadow cabinet made up of their inner circle, their leadership rival to show quote-unquote unity, plus a couple of old stagers to show continuity with the past, case in point Blair's shadow cabinet had Brown, Prescott, Cook, Harman and Beckett to distract from the likes of Straw and Blunkett

On the other hand, look at Cameron's: Osborne, Hague, Fox, Hammond, Grayling, May, Gove, Hunt, Shapps, Francois, Villiers, Letwin - and how much of that ****e is in the cabinet now?

Luckily similar can't be said of the current shad...oh ****ing hell

She's now blaming all criticism on Russian bots, for some reason.

Whoa there! Let's get this clear. You want us to intervene in Ukraine? You want WWIII... which comes complete with nuclear weapons unlike the last one (mostly). And clearly we haven't done **** all as we've supplied Ukraine with a whole lot of top military gear that makes it, for example, a bad posting in the Russian army to tank crew. Criticise the government for all sorts of things if you want (there's more than enough), but have some perspective that not everything they do is wrong.

The UK govt has done as much as it can militarily to
aid Ukraine without engaging in actions that are an
effective declaration of war with Russia (aerial dogfights,
UK troops on Ukraine soil etc) .

By most accounts the Ukraine govt are grateful for the
above to date, as while it may not ultimately prevent Russia
from prevailing in the conflict, it is causing them to endure
a protracted "bloody nose" slog to get there.
