Crewe Alexandra part company with manager David Artell following relegation to League Two.
I wanted us to be looking at Wintle and Dale last summer. Plenty of players there last season who’ve made the jump hence why they’re struggling. Kirk, Dale, Wintle, NG and Pickering all in the championship now.Hard as it might be to believe, there are a couple of their young players worth poaching.
Just for a second there, I thought you'd said 'Whittle', now that would've been a good signing right there...I wanted us to be looking at Wintle and Dale last summer. We are but don’t underestimate the lower leagues. Maguire, Clucas, Robertson…I thought we were fishing in bigger better ponds these days, Crewe FFS

He'd certainly be able to Ghost past the opposition.I haven’t got my glasses on and thought you’d just suggested we sign Dale Winton.![]()
Boothferry was nearer.Always had a soft spot for Crewe...Nearest ground to a main train station.
Norwich is close..Wrexham from memory isn't that far.
Being pedantic here. Oxford Road is near to Old Trafford, but not a main railway station. Manchester Picc is fairly close to Eithad stadium but there are nearer. Eg.. St James Pk isn't too far from Newcastle Central.Boothferry was nearer.
It's a fair hike to Old Trafford from Oxford road station. Old Trafford did have it's own staion behind the south stand very much like Boothferry Park.Being pedantic here. St. Andrews is walking distance from New Street.
You're right. Always thought it was close by. Must be getting confused with the former station. I stand corrected. tah. It's a fair hike to Old Trafford from Oxford road station. Old Trafford did have it's own staion behind the south stand very much like Boothferry Park.

Depends who's there. Leicester signed Jamie Vardy from Fleetwood.I thought we were fishing in bigger better ponds these days, Crewe FFS
