Every game is massive, but that goes for the other 3/4 teams in the play off race. Who will hold their nerve?

At the moment there all must wins
Take each game as it comes
Us and teams I’m sure will at some point drop points and that does not automatically put who ever out of the play off race I feel it will go to the wire

It's an interesting season in most divisions which is good for football, not sure that the same can be said of fans of those teams involved as it's bloody nerve wracking.
Most leagues are as tight as a nuns whatsit, and at both ends funnily enough.

A mate near Oxford just sent me this, interesting because Oxford's defence seems to be getting worse.

As they really need to beat us I can see us scoring a couple.

They can't do a 'Gillingham' and come out cheating, timewasting and sitting back.

That'll give Roberts, Clarke and Pritchard spaces to work with imo.

The only team that's attacked us recently were Wigan who we beat easily.

"Oxford have conceded 2 or more goals in 14 games this season.

In a third of their games they needed to score 3 to win and at least 2 for a point.

10 of those 14 games have been since Christmas."

Since the first week of January they’ve conceded 1.6 goals per game.

Must not lose to keep on track for me. But I'd like the win to keep my prediction of 4th going. I think we'll get that if Oxford and Plymouth are in our wins.

I can see us and Wycombe finishing level on points, 82 down to goal difference.:emoticon-0107-sweat.

aye, and a couple of weeks ago we would have put money on rotherham finishing clear and getting champions before the season ended...last i looked they had dropped to third.

all the way to the wire this one and i doubt anyone can call it.

    Plymouth's remaining fixtures.

    Away to Wycombe
    Home to us
    Away to Wigan
    Home to MK Dons

We may not need to beat them to finish above them.

Just had a quick look at the next 2 games.
Rotherham play Portsmouth and Ipswich, MK Dons have sheff Wed and Oxford there's a slight chance they could both lose both those games, if they did and we won our 2 we would be 4 points of second with a game in hand with 3 games left, is that being a little bit too optimistic

    probably!

I think Wigan nailed on for the title, MK Dons in second.

if they both win their remaining matches against the other top teams, or at least draw, it will help secure our play off spot.

Wigan have just the one top 8 team to play - Plymouth
MKDons play Plymouth, Sheff Wed & Oxford.

So Shrewsbury have nothing to play for...but being at home expecting to win...

Plymouth away, is another Oxford... they will be confident and want the points as an outside chance of automatic promotion.

Rotherham, having a tough time, hopefully 3 points, they were already up... but then cursed!
