I didn't ask a question, Pete.

And I never said that I didn't like your "answer".

Thanks for the interaction though, glad I managed to distract you from your usual hoddy of posting tweets about pakis or lauding the worst Conservative Govt ever.

You criticised Hull didn't you ?

The wrath unleashed by these lot if you dare badmouth Hull is always biblical.

<laugh>

I'm sure it's not a dump at all

I quite enjoy people slagging Hull off. The sort of people that believe it, are the same sort that are a whining pain in the arse, so we're far better when they just keep away. <ok>

This should be funny if it's anything like the other replies. :emoticon-0100-smile

@Lochers In your system, who will be on the other end of the phone if you dial 999 and who will respond if you need the Police of Fire Brigade?
I don't need the police or the fire brigade and in a society of steak holders, you would do what happened in the old days, muck in and help out.

Too many people just outsource everything to the State, at huge expense, and then they use the money to award themselves money we can only dream of.

Make sure you're fit and strong and the chances are you won't need the police.
Don't set your house on fire and chances are you won't need the fire brigade
And don't phone for an ambulance, they won't come for hours and you'll be better just making your own way to the hospital.

God bless are NHS

I've been to Hull and Back <ok>

I'm here all week folks.

The history of Hull is quite interesting, especially as strictly speaking there is no such place. It's pretty much a '**** you' to anyone that thinks they're going to be the 'authority' here.

It was a collection of Hamlets, such as Wyke, Myton, Sculcoates, Drypool, when the King decided he'd 'honour' us by granting a market, and calling us "The City and County of Kingston, upon the River Hull" which was met with a call of '**** off knob head'. Subsequently, all statues of Royals are placed over the Public ****houses.

As previous groups of soldiers had been driven out, one King decided he need to instill order, so sent his troops in, but got called away, and left strict instruction that the townsfolk must make sure that the soldiers are still there when he returns, or risk dire consequences.

When he returned, life was normal, but he couldn't see the soldiers, so the townsfolk led him to the citadel, where he could find his soldiers all neat, present and correct, nailed to the wall. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Every person I ever met that comes from Leeds always tries to convince me that it's the best place ever .

Yes I would love to hear all about the white Rose , do carry on
