Well if you accept that at least half a dozen will be let go, most of whom on a free, and will need replacing with better players, I’d say that will require serious investment. Ergo a “war chest”.
Arveladze would have trouble motivating a team of accountants. His dull monotone makes Colin Appleton sound like Jurgen Klopp. He clearly struggles to express himself in English. I've not heard him say anything that's left an impression. Ilicali has dropped a bollock appointing him.

Seems harsh the team defended valiantly in the second half. We were well in the game until the sending off and defended very well and were punished for switching off by a top 6 side. Had Allahyar buried that sitter I doubt you’d have posted that…

Well, I totally ****ed up, I set my clock to wake up 3.30 am to watch the game, only to be woke up just before then with the ping on my phone that they had scored.
For some reason, I wrongly thought with the hour change it was an hour later than normal, where in fact it should have been an hour earlier, hence 2 hours out.
I'll watch the full game back on ifollow after 24 hours when it becomes available and see what my impression of the game is.
Obviously Eaves needless sending off was not at all helpful.

We can file the game under 'unfortunate' John - alongside your clock cock up.
If we'd have held on for a draw the headlines would be Plucky ten men Tigers stay strong.
We held them at bay for the whole game - half of which we had a one man disadvantage - and it wouldn't have been a total surprise it we'd have nicked a one nil win.
Granted, they probably should have had three penalties but we never looked like a beaten side and should have grabbed a point at the very end.
Bottom line - it's our lack of fire power that's costing us dearly at the moment and not a lot else.
Although, that said, this team won't realistically improve next season without at least five good signings.
To be completely fair to Eaves I think their player simply ran across him and there was a tangle, however putting himself in the position that that was even a remote possibility so soon after receiving his first yellow was totally brainless.
As a person Tom’s probably a really nice lad, as a Championship striker he’s pretty hopeless as we’ve all witnessed, however it’s not his fault that he keeps on getting selected, it’s the managers job to find the solution to that, and so far he’s failed miserably.
I’m afraid the way we’ve played since Shota came in does not inspire me to think that we’ll be anything other than strugglers next year if he’s still here. Does anyone see any chinks of light with him, is there truly anyone that’s been inspired by him?
I can't understand why some are already saying Shota out. He is assessing players on the hoof so to speak, and is playing a system that ideally he doesn't want
play, because he hasn't got the players to play it.

Docherty is a bit of a liability at this level, he gave away the free kick that they scored from I understand last night, and is just not good enough on the ball.
Slater and Smallwood is a better combination than Docherty/Smallwood.
The 3 centre backs are fine.
Fleming is better than Elder.
I've said it for a while, we need more quality in midfield and a good striker up front.
He is just trying to get to the end of the season with the cards he has been dealt, and I'm sure he will get it right given time.
Not only that our most consistent player, honeyman, is not playing at the same level he was under Terry. He’s still all effort but he’s playing a set position while before he was given free rein to go everywhere. Plus he’s pissed of about his contract situation. Which is ridiculous by the club him and smallwood have been saying since January to get it sorted,
This new owner needs to show the colour of his money soon, the pr has been excellent now he needs to back it up. Because the alarm bells are ringing for me
I see a man assessing things, it is not easy when you have game after game to really find out how players can fit together as a team. He is taking his time, as I said in my other post, I think he has already decided Slater is better than Docherty, Fleming is better than Elder, and he is happy with the back 3. Rome wasn't built in a day, next season I think is where you will see an improvement.
Based on last nights game, I think Huddersfield have more to worry about than us.
They look to have a very weak temperament that makes them vulnerable, and they struggled to create against a 10 man side that some on here reckon are relegation fodder.

Oh Chazz where have you been? Plenty have said we're going to spend loads.
Turned up last night and thought we more than matched them for 45 mins. Thought we kept the ball well and got hold of midfield at times without really being threat up front. Red card totally changed the impact we where having and made a difficult game all but impossible after half time. The age old problem of not scoring enough goals killed us in the end it will do until it’s addressed. One final thing. Talk of managerial changes is ridiculous and wreaks off impatience similar to what McCann had to face up too at times. The frustration is understandable but those who thought new owners would bring instant success have to realise we are a club currently undergoing massive changes both on and off the pitch and whilst the current run of home form is hard to swallow right now I doubt very much Acun will allow it to continue next season and would go as far to say with proper finances… it won’t.

Eaves is a fanny alright but let’s look at the options.
Forss. Supposedly Prem quality but disappears and arguably a Bigger fanny than Eaves by all accounts.
Allayer. Who? Gets his boots dirty now and then ..watch this space hopefully.
Wilkes. Fans hate him so why bother…?
Smith. Gets a game then gets dropped for the big fanny….somethings not right?

I’m very surprised the amount of people saying we battled with 10 men and did well . You often see games where it is hard to see who has 10 and who has 11 , you can still give a team a game with 10 men yet we came out for the second half and seemed to have no idea how to lay a glove on them . We barely touched the ball or got in their half for 20 mins , felt like we were playing Liverpool
And cheering 2 touches or winning a throw in . I know we are struggling and Huddersfield doing well but at home I would expect us to still come out and have a go not try hold in to 0-0 for 45 mins, when we conceded we actually had a go and looked semi dangerous
