Russia wants them to pay for their gas using Rubles via Russian bank accounts. That is one way of getting around the international financial sanctions.

The EU will pay because they are not actually delivering on any of their other threats whilst Britain is supplying weapons and logistics to Ukraine and we should just switch off our small dependency on Russian gas and stop paying them. Who was supposed to be in Russia’s pocket? It seems like it is Germany and the EU.

That is the country where the President capped the energy price increase at 4 per cent and then bought €2bn of Électricité de France (EDF) shares to bailout France’s biggest energy provider that stands to lose €8bn in revenue. So actually Macron spent €8.7bn (the state owns 84 per cent of EDF) that France does not have so that people did not see their bills rise. He may end up nationalising debt-riddled EDF even though that is probably not allowed under EU law.

I've got myself a load of Vegan recipes. They look quite tasty to be fair, and they're a piece of piss to catch as they keep shouting to let you know they're there.

Just had a quick look at sky and bbc news websites, very refreshing to see that niether of them have give a single line on the idiots blocking oil refineries today. Starve the ****s of oxygen and with luck they will all drop dead.
