He's actually over there in Qatar now for Talksport, there for the draw tomorrow. I heard him on earlier in the week. Nick Summerbee has been living there for 9 years. He's been showing Gray and Adrian Durham around the stadiums.

Same age as me, I’ve played against him, met him, know his ex wife who lives on my estate, the bloke has always been and will always be a 5 star gold plated ****er with a false accent. Utter cock!

Could not put it better, a real louse of a human being.

Think we have to be a bit careful here boys and girls. Micky Gray is working for Talksport now....he's their NW correspondent often..... and they thrive on mouthy controversy,it's their dna and he's clearly bought into it.
I no longer have any itk,but I did during the brief Terry Butcher era,and I can say he was very highly regarded at that time. The club knew they had a quality player whose temperament was first rate. Notwithstanding the Charlton play off penalty,I think I'm right in saying....he played every match in the promotion season following?
Definately put a shift in for us.
We've had lots of players over the years whose behaviour off the field hasn't been ideal and who didn't produce the goods on the field for us that Micky Gray did.
Just saying.

I doubt anyone has forgotten how good he was as a player here.

But he is just a pro gabblemouth now.

I heard something couple of days ago, from the head of Fifa I think it was. Basically praising how much they have improved the human rights of the workers etc in such a short space of time.

Call me cynical but will that not be down to most of the work being completed now and it being down to finishing touches?

Agree with this, he was a great player for us. Playing on the pitch was never the problem, it was being a total bellend off it that was.
Can't stand the bloke.

Disagree, a player is not immune to all criticism cause he is a great or was a great player for us. People can think a players personality is that of an arsehole but still think they were class for us on the pitch.

No,sorry marra.don't agree. Players play for us....they're performance on the pitch is everything.
