He is obviously deluded and senile so just have to pat him on the head and smile

Kante should be in it, Vardy <laugh><laugh><laugh>

<laugh> ... now you'll upset Sucky ... he thinks Vardy but not Kante or Mahrez ... looks like you might have to pat Sucky on the head too ... meanwhile, try and wean yourself off the Happy Meals ...

I remem<laugh>ber when Harry Kane slammed in 4 at the King Pow

He did indeed - but not against the first team ...

... and I remember Harry saying:

"... Leicester City, we're coming for you ... "

I think he may have got on the wrong team coach or something... coz it never arrived ... wheels came off somewhere in West London if I recall rightly ... probably Sucky and his hub-cap crew <laugh>

Ponky... I realise you are not the sharpest... but the question I posed you this morning was rather simple, even for you ...whether you considered Ian Wright should be in the HoF and, if so, why ... you dodged the question... as is your nature.

All you had in response were predictable Steptoe references ...

Once more you demonstrate your scratch & sniff knowledge of football, my friend... but the facts are there for all bothered to look. Vardy does indeed hold the Premier League record for scoring in consecutive games and the HoF is, supposedly, about those that have stood out in that particular league for their achievements in it ... that you would try to belittle those achievements whilst not being able to make a case for your own club's player more or less sums you up... lots of hot air and posturing, but no real substance and nothing much of value to add to any debate. <cheers>

You claimed Vardy had a better goal scoring record than Ian Wright and once again you were rinsed by the simple fact that it's not true.

So you tried to shoehorn in the 'most consecutive games scored in' and 'most goals for a player over 30' award to try and claim he should go in the HOF

<rofl>

You’re a lost cause Flossy. <laugh>

You’ve just claimed that Vardy’s goal scoring records are better than Ian Wright’s and then tried pass off the ‘consecutive goals for old codgers’ title as evidence

Blimey you really are dim ...I didn't claim anywhere that Vardy's goalscoring record was 'better' than Ian Wright's ... I simply pointed out some facts about both players 'in the Premier League's ... I loved Wrighty as a player btw ... but the only Prem scoring record he ever held was that of most goals for a player after the age of 30 ... he recently lost that, plus he never won a PL Golden Boot... so I asked you to justify what would qualify him for inclusion in a Hall of Fame that is all about Premiership achievements... you were unable to make a case ... which is rather a sad indictment but not entirely a surprise tbf <laugh>

Please quote where I wrote that 'Vardy has a better goalscoring record than Ian Wright' ... take as much time as you want ... more bluster and deflection is all you've got Ponks ... the wording in my opening post and the ones that followed was carefully chosen ... <laugh>

You said he has more goal scoring records

Despite scoring less goals. Which would seem to be the most important factor you're trying to deflect from here.

Having the 'most consecutive goals' and 'most for a player over 30' doesn't get him into the HOF Flossy.

<laugh> Flossy reminds me one of those wind up teeth toys

Set him off and watch him witter away endlessly

As tedious as this debate is it's worth pointing out that Vardy has more PL goals than Wright.

Don't you ****ing start <laugh>

And that's only because the name changed from Division 1 to Premier League

I don't know what you mean <whistle><laugh>

And yeah of course but I assumed the PL are only including the years since its formation?

Otherwise I'm claiming a Saints entry for Shearer and am looking forward to Mick Channon being inducted.

There's a few players like Shearer, Sheringham, Wright etc whose Careers overlapped both the old Division 1 and Premier League, so I guess you have to include their whole career including the early years, even though the top flight had a different name.

Funny thing is, I didn't even bring it up that Wright should be included, Flossy was trying to use it in his assertion that Vardy should be in there for being the player who scored most goals as an old codger. <laugh>
