More impressive though that Hants' 33-6.

Good thing this is only a friendly.

It's time to see what Ben Foakes is made of. A good innings here and he surely secures his place in the test team, at least for the summer.

Have 10 + 11 ever top scored in a test match innings?

Hopefully the notoriously brittle West Indies batters can make a decent score! 350 would do, but I expect they will be 30 adrift of England's first innings score.

In contrast to Joe Root who set the Windies an unattainable target in two sessions, the Aussies have thrown down the gauntlet to Pakistan setting them around 350 ish in 4 sessions. Cummins obviously backing his bowlers!!

What did you expect Root to do? Set them 200 in 3 sessions?

I am a Windies fan. Blame Hampshire for that as they had Gordon Greenidge, Andy Roberts and then Malcolm Marshall, so quite naturally I wanted Greenidge to score loads of runs against everybody and the latter two to take tickets. So the Windies it is!

Around 230!! And given the bowlers more time to whittle them out!! I think he was being a tad optimistic in such a time span! Having said that, he can be given a measure a praise for ensuring England didn't lose the first two tests, given the confidence levels after the Ashes.mauling, so it was justified if it was done to help.the batters regain or gain confidence in the test arena.
