Yeah....probs be cold sliced chicken breast, got a pack unopened I got from the shop on Sunday, some salad stuff.

I much prefer cold chicken to hot. Bit of salt and pepper, yum

Im retired , and sleep pattern is totally shot away at the moment .

As I said somewhere else the company I worked for ( 37 years ) are good to their employees when it comes to release packages .

Was approaching 60 , her small group had been offered 1 years money to go , she said , sod it im just going to wind the clock down and go .

then as she was coming up for normal retirement , they upped the offer to 18 months pay .

She took the package !

My brother has two brothers in law .

one was in the police and retired at 50 , life of Riley apparently.

Thd other one , quite a bit younger is in the police & will have to work WAY past 50 !

As I said somewhere else the company I worked for ( 37 years ) are good to their employees when it comes to release packages .

Sounds like some good choices to me, I get annoyed with people that i've known who have worked until they've dropped, and they had no financial need to do so. Over the years, people that promised themselves so much, and kicked the bucket before they had chance. Once you rebalance the books and work out your numbers, there so many cutbacks we can make in life, to enjoy the latter years sooner. Even looking at that roof over your head, do we really need to be living in a grande house once the kids leave home, there are so many ways to open up your capital.
