To put the record straight I binned off this board because there were frequent snide digs at what and where I posted, digs at not being a proper supporter and bollocks like that along with complete misrepresentations of opinions and posts. Thought that was done at the likes of Liverpool and Man U not Qpr. Take the piss out of me for my opinions, fair enough it’s what this thread has been like since day one, but to try and undermine me for stuff like that is pure snide.
Granted I don’t get to as many games as I’d like, however I enjoyed reading a lot of the threads because I could catch up with things about the club posted by people closer to the club than me, where I’d sometimes respond sometimes not, I didn’t think it was essential especially when I had nothing new to add
Politics and humanitarian issues are other passions of mine however when I was posting opinions rather than dealing with the comment it would be about why I hadn’t posted in the latest game thread… just remember we don’t know what’s going on in people’s lives what they do on a Saturday afternoon and why they might not have posted… been a fan of the club for the best part of 40 years, sadly it felt like a pissing competition and that just isn’t something I’m bothered with.

Get your arse back on here. I hardly post on the politics thread now as it has become an echo chamber. If it is partly due to me Wills then you don’t need to worry. I am posting mostly on the footy threads now.

Here is a sad state of affairs, my sister in law, a nurse with the NHS community team is having to give up her flat as she can no longer afford to live there. With the rent, inflation, fuel and energy bills rising along with the National insurance rise, it has become unfeasable for her to live there. This is a 38 year old woman in a full time job going back to live with her parents.
Make no mistake, these are all political decisions being forced upon us. As my Gran used to say, the 'Tories make the rich richer and the poor poorer'. Never at this time has it been more true.
When Rich as **** Rishi delivers his statement tomorrow, dont for one second believe he understands the hardships normal, everyday people will be going through, he hasnt a ****ing clue.
Its disgusting that the government is choosing to force more and more people into poverty. They make me ****ing sick.

1 thing I thought Bob and dunno if we as the public have yet had an answer….but how much has been seized from the Russians and where is it gonna go ?
Would the Chelsea sale go straight into the government coffers ?
All the Russian assets are frozen, not confiscated. When Chelsea is sold the proceeds will go into an account where Abramovitch can’t access it, but the government can’t either. As far as I understand it. Presumably at some stage the government either gives it back or confiscates it properly.
Usmanov, who had an interest in Arsenal and has one in Everton, has moved his properties into Trusts which are set up in such a complicated way, and formally based in places like the British Virgin Islands, that they don’t count as his any more, even though they clearly are his, and can’t be ‘sanctioned’. Classic case of the law protecting property ownership above people.
when the wars over and relations become more friendly it will probably be quietly handed back

Beth I’m not saying you knew about it but I was definitely banned, and to this day I’ve no idea why, one day I noticed the QPR board had disappeared for me. I was on good terms with the board supermod who has absolutely no dog in the fight, and asked him about it, he advised me a QPR mod had asked I get a full site ban, he decided as at that time as I was also contributing on the Prem board to only make it for the Qpr pages, the board suddenly appeared back at the start of the following year.
Again I absolutely believe you had no knowledge of this but it 100% happened and I know a few were pissed off because nobody owned up and no reasons were given.
Thank you Wills. This has cleared something and linked something up in my mind too. I had no knowledge of this at all.
