A bit unfair to infer that something might be going on, and then not expanding on it….especially if people might be “turning up on our doorsteps”.

I gave an analogy involving a Jewish father protecting his family from a Nazi kicking his door down, intending to kill them.
I also said that I'd be prepared to kill the invader in that position.
I found some of the responses strange and said as much.

Mate, with respect, you can be just as confrontational, and in fact many on here would say very much more so…ie if things don’t go your way you’ll just tell someone to “**** off”. Of course no one is innocent and I am definitely of the confrontational type, always have been, always will be.
The post that concerned me was post #74895, said that some ”really strange **** being posted on here”, while It was being debated about someone turning up on someone’s door, coming to kill them, self defence etc etc.
This of course led to yesterdays disagreement, when another poster backed you up ….. it’s all there for you to go over.
Now if it was just you having a bit of a laugh and I’ve taken it out of context then cool, in the future I’ll take your posts with a massive pinch of salt…..however if you really do have genuine concerns, then I still think it’s unfair to all that you don’t share them.

I disagreed with Steels who said the example I'd given was a lesser shade of bad.
I wasn't literally saying that an invader was likely to kick my door down. After all, my Country hasn't been invaded for over a thousand ****ing years.
I thought Bob was taking the piss by saying I'd be ok as it was highly unlikely to happen to me.
That wasn't my point and I thought he realised that.

There now, it's all been laid out again for a few more pages of disagreement, after I'd said it wasn't important.

Debate is healthy though Beth. And today after being vindicated in all I have said, and being able to prove that I’m not “a liar”, as some most certainly accused me of…..I’m a happy guy.
Even Cols post has been found to be little more than a random comment (which I’m mightily relieved at).
