P&O cruises are part of Carnival, but if some of the collateral from the P&O Ferries situation is a reduction in P&O cruises business, then so be it. I started my career as an engineer cadet with P&O in Southampton in 1975, and I`m thoroughly ashamed to be associated with the name right now. Also, I don`t see how a complete new crew can be hired and safely operate the vessels immediately.

The Act empowers the US to seize the assets of those guilty of human rights violations. No prizes for guessing who the 8 who voted against the reauthorisation support. Bill Browder was a friend of Magnitsky’s and lobbied the Obama administration to pass the original Act.
