Just been reading a comment from Lee Catterole on the club's website, where he is saying that both Turner & Campbell are back in full training and almost ready for selection.

Brilliant news IMO, not the news i was expecting as i was hoping Catts would be on his way back, but still brilliant news.

Where do you think they will both fit in or to rephrase, who will be dropped? if anyone.

I think the Everton game will come too soon for both but i'd love to see a 3 pronged attack of Sess, Gyan, Campbell, with Steed, Muntari, Ricco in the middle, Bardsley, Turner, Titus, Ned across the back with Flash between the sticks.

    Ned Mensah Turner Bardo.

Personnally I think Turner's no nonsense style of defending is what we need right now.

love that attacking 3, but got a feeling with the run of games coming up that midfield looks a bit lightweight and would be over-run fairly easy, but hey great to watch they score 1 we score 2, finger biting times but dont think brucey will go for it

I think to make it work we need Catts in the middle, maybe at the expence of Ricco, Steed is the better ball player so i'd keep him along with Muntari.

Having Turner back will be massive, the fact he finished the game against Stoke, the manner he got the injury, clattering the post to make a clearance just sums the lad up.

Gutted if the Cattermole stories are true, i was hoping he'd be back for Everton, if he's out for the season, thank the lord we got Muntari.

I can see us getting a result at Everto, but i can see Fellaini dominating midfield, the defence needs to be on it.

We will cause them massive problems though, they won't fancy facing Sessegnon.

Even if Turner is fit for the Arsenal game, I wouldnt play him as I wouldnt expect Arsenal to do an arial bombardment. The Arsenal players will be a bit quick for Turner as he struggles with the little nimble players but is in his element against Drogba etc.

Campbell and Welbeck coming back at the same time will be interesting. Not much news on Welbeck's injury updates at the minute, I wonder how hes getting on seen as we will be buying him in the summer ;)

Your probably right on Arsenal, but Turner is a great tackler as well.

Mensah should be sharp by then, off the top of my head, from 9 goals conceded las 3 games, at least 5 were from corners or crosses, your spot on, Arsenal don't have the players to do it, and Arsene wouldn't play so ugly.

Arsenal don't have the height in attack so no arial bombardment, but Turners tackling is IMO a must against their ball playing forwards. There can't be many teams like Stoke who get away with roughing up players in the box.

Agree about Fellani and even if reports are not true i don't see Catts being up to speed by then anyway, so guess it's all down to Muntari? we're still to see him at his best in a red & white shirt anyway so by then he should be match fit and more than capable of looking after Fellani IMO.

haha my m8 knows this guy who knows a postman who knows Danny's postman who knows Danny's barber who knows danny told me

With regards to Turner's tackling ability I agree, he may also be able to pop up in the other end and nod in a corner, which is a side of his game many people have forgotten.

His ariel threat is a bonus, even if he doesn't get on the end of crosses, he ties a couple of defenders up trying to mark him.
