Second half, we didn't create a scoring chance. No way you can make the play offs or go up if you can't do that. Poor second half from the Rangers. We were second best all over the pitch. we were ****, second to everything. We were lucky to only lose 3-1. Forest were assertive and dynamic in their thrust for the win, we weren't and we limped to this defeat. We'd be better off being out of the the play off places and saving us the embarrassment. of an even chance of a play off place. We got the the goal, but we weren't in the game after that. It was just a matter of time before we succumbed..
[ After Col said that there were loads of others complaining about Gabbidon, I thought I'd trawl back to find who they were. Yours is the only one I could find Steels, but it's certainly an impressively compelling contribution. I have to disagree, though. I thought Gabbidon's comments accurately reflected the game. I really don't get the 'no one likes us' thing.
Gabbidon is useless, his voice is incorrect. And is every reason why Sky needs to get rid of the commentary button. He's a ****!
It is, which is equally unnerving. He's another weirdo. Great chef, but took it to another strange weight loss place. You either like your food or you don't?
Anyway, I'm off for a jaunt abroad for the first time in ages. Hopefully it's nice and sunny. Tally ho all.
Without trawling through the whole thread, I'm pretty sure at least @Uber_Hoop and @Turkish" Premier" Hoops had problems with Gabbidon as well as me and Col....and with Skys' continual digs at us from most of their commentary teams....maybe it's just amplified to us because we care so much and they make their snide comments against most teams who aren't in the PL top six gravy train
OK I'm sorry but Warburton was at fault again imo. Suicidal to play Wallace instead of McCallum against Spense the best wing back in the division and putting Sanderson in was of very little assistance in my eyes. Amos was absolutely turd tonight, missed an absolute sitter and just ambled round the pitch doing **** all. Dozzell wasn't much better and we really needed to be starting 1 if them and introducing fresh legs on tge 2nd half. Absolutely shocked that Adomah didn't start too we badly needed him 2nd half to alleviate tge pressure. The continual lack of our defence to close down tge opposing players on the edge of our box finally was finally our undoing , sooner or later someone is gonna knock one in the top corner. Turning off from corners is also something we've become accustomed to and that proved costly too. Warburton needed to make a change 10 mins into the 2nd half after we'd contained them relatively well in tge first half. You could see the pressure was mounting and it was wave after wave but yet again he dawdled and didn't react till after the equaliser and by then it was too late and any momentum had been lost. Putting on Douglas Bader and his twin sealed the defeat, utterly appalling with nothing going forward and nothing created. Willock looks like a hamstring and without him we're utterly ****ed. Looks like no fit keeper too which is just splendid. Just to add Moss is an utter ****ter of a ref, little turd who is a massive bottler. **** evening and in real danger of dropping out of top 6 , Warburton is a limited manager and we won't seriously challenge for promotion until we have someone like the hideous git in the opposition dugout in charge !
Well, that result was about as inviting as a fart in an elevator. Missed the game commentary but sounds like that may have been a good thing! The result was a big disappointment to be honest.
I'd say I care every bit as much as anyone else on here, but I just don't see that we're treated any differently than other clubs.
I welcomed the energy that Dozzell and, particularly, Amos brought to the team and, whilst I am a firm Warburton supporter, I would have only replaced the former in the second half due to his yellow card. Stefan is a shadow of the player that we saw last season and I remain mystified as to why we brought in Hendrick, whose talents are yet to grow on me. More controversially, I actually thought Marshall was a little slow to move across for their first goal: he took a couple of hesitant steps before launching himself at the shot. Also, with an uninjured Marshall, the scoreline might have been less emphatic. It was good to see Gray more interested in proceedings.
I think I'm missing something as well, other than the Tom Kerridge factor I wasn't too bothered about Gabbidon. Generally speaking even if there is bias Jamie Mackie always has our back in the studio.
Calm down Beth I was referring to the 2 main keepers… although I get your point. I don’t know the rules fully on replacements.
