Our top scorer is still Dykes on nine goals, but Chair is now one behind him on eight goals and Willock and Gray are both just behind in joint third place, on seven goals. Forest beat relegation threatened Reading 4-0 on Saturday, and their top scorer is Lewis Grabban on thirteen goals, with Brennan Johnson on eleven. Team news and manager comments to come soon, but worth noting that both Max Lowe (15 games so far this season) and Steve Cook (5 games since joining in January), were both taken off injured on Saturday, and so they will have to patch their defence together as best they can. Here's hoping that will leave some gaping hole for our attacking players to exploit. Having finally won at The City Ground in 2018, it'd be lovely to make a habit of it, and get a win that would further help establish our position in the top six. QPR: Jordan Archer and Seny Dieng will miss out for the R’s, with Lyndon Dykes also missing out but Dion Sanderson returns following his suspension. Nottingham Forest: Steve Cook and Max Lowe will miss out for Forest. Pre-match talk: Mark Warburton (QPR Manager): “From our point of view, we have to go to Nottingham and be on the front foot, meet the challenge, enjoy it and make sure that we deliver a good QPR performance. We have had a difficult month, a blip and here we are in fourth. So, I think for us we have come through it, we have had some difficult games but here we are, we have 10 games to go now.” Steve Cooper (Nottingham Forest Manager): “QPR are a really strong side and being in this position at this stage of the season proves that, we're under no illusions that it's going to be a tough game. "Our fans are fantastic and we have a really powerful stadium when it's full. When the team are playing well and the fans are in full voice, it can be a real force to play against and we need to continue that. ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
I’m glad you didn’t specify ‘Previous meetings at the City Ground’ W 1……Jesus…. More usual to go to Nottingham direct from St Pancras by train - 1 hour 44 mins average Cheers Dave.
SB 1 Google and my memory 0 I remember getting the train there now and yes, it was direct from St Pancras...just next to the Eurostar.
Over from Paris working in London. Is there a pub in Shepherds Bush where they will show the match for QPR fans?
After miserably never believing we would win at Luton, I now declare we will win 2 nil at Forest. COYRssss!!!!
Not sure how many of us actually live in Shepherds Bush nowadays. If it’s going to be on the telly anywhere I would have thought the Crown and Sceptre would be a good bet. And it’s a good boozer too.
1,031. One of my daughter's is going tonight. It will be her second away match. Her first was the 6-1 drubbing at Chelsea in 2012. Hopefully it won't be as bad. I'd love to be there but I've got an early flight in the morning and might not get back in time.
Wouldn't it just be so QPR to go and win tonight and then on Sunday lose at home to the rock-bottom six fingered sister shaggers?...
Will they be distracted by playing Liverpool at the weekend . Fingerscrossed. Didn't affect Middlesbrough though.
