No point crying over spilt milk, but my God that abject performance against Brentford has cost us big time. All of the other teams we were chasing, except for Everton who are yet to play, have lost this weekend, so if we had beaten Brentford we would have been off the bottom and in a pack of six to avoid the bottom three places.

My post was about the reason they've offered, not the fact that they've stopped streaming the matches. If someone else had already commented on their abjectly false "explanation", I apologise. And while we are on the subject of "keeping up", can I suggest you put quotation marks round content you're simply pasting in from websites such as the BBC?

Another grammar lesson from the Prof.

And while we are on the subject, why do you continually use question marks, when you are obviously just making a request/statement.

What the hell is happening at Everton? Good on them for throwing us a lifeline. Shame we can't seem to take advantage of other teams gifting us more chances to get to safety.

Swimming would indicate movement, unfortunately we are stationary. Treading water at best. I have never been a "Delia out" fan, but the time has surely come for a change at the top, and not a hand over to Tom, but a new beginning completely.

It's all well and good, but who would want NCFC? Some American company that can leverage us against debt?

Brentford beat Burnley 2-0 and Burnley had CB Collins sent off on a straight red card for violent conduct, which means he won't play against us when they come to CR. :emoticon-0100-smile

Burnley's next game is ManCity, then they come to us.

We can't say we're not being given a chance. Next three games (if my memory serves me well) are Leeds, Brighton and Burnley. Leeds have lost six in a row, Brighton have lost 5, and Burnley are within shooting distance.

Please, for once let it not be Along Come Norwich.

We have also lost 5 in a row, but that did include ManCity, Liverpool and Chelsea.
What sliver of hope we have totally depends on tomorrow now. Watford losing at Southampton and Everton losing to Wolves would also help.

Hello out there. Is anyone awake in England? My post above on Monday morning, over four days ago, is the last on any pinned subject. This board has become moribund. And likely to stay so with 19 days until our next fixture.:emoticon-0177-toivo

I'm sure I can inject some life into it. I only have to post and ............ Bingo!
Rather than moribund I would liken it to the Tory back benches on a hot afternoon just before the summer recess. A lot of drooping heads, momentarily jerking up to mutter "hear, hear" quite irrespective of what is being said in the Chamber.

    Still here buddy.
Not much to get excited about at the moment.
****ing Putin, trying to destroy the world.
Poor Ukrainians trying to defend democracy, whilst the West sits back and does ****all.
I am now well into my 70s and feel ashamed of most that has happened in my life time,in the persuit of self gain , and no regard for the rest of the World.
I really am on a downer at the moment

Regardless of Robbie’s self-back-patting, I think there is just not a lot to say. We all know the situation. There are a few weeks off to our next game. It’s time for the club to start planning for the summer, but we are only going to find that out later in the year, so it’s difficult to start talking about the squad in earnest (though some good posts on that topic already).

Yes, we've run out of things to say. How many times can we repeat our arguments about the summer recruitment, Farke's sacking, the role of Cantwell in this season's fiasco, whether Sargent and Tzolis are a complete waste of money or whether they might come good next season, whether self-funding is dead in the water, whether Delia should go, whether Webber should go, whether Dean Smith should get to recruit his own players or whether he should be sacked because he is mediocre and is an updated version of Pulis, whether Webber and partner have too much power at the club, what should happen when Delia pops her clogs, etc? And now we are effectively relegated already, what's the point of discussing whether we should drop McLean, give Sorensen an extended opportunity to show what he can do, clean out the deadwood, play the kids, and so on?

Things are not helped by the total silence from the club itself, a feeling of distance between the club's hierarchy and the fans, the sense that they don't really care much about the fans and are going to do whatever they want anyway.

This is the most depressing time to be a Norwich fan since the relegation to Division One. It's really hard to be optimistic about the future and it's starting to be hard to care very much.
