Carroll doesn't run, close down or tackle half as much as Morsy. His passing isn't really that accurate either.

I want promotion this Season,I just think after the start we had it’s too much to expect.

Well we needed 2 points per game and we’re a bit ahead of that and we’ve kept it going for 14 games, which is absolutely phenomenal form. 16 points needed from 9 games now. The gap is just three points with Oxford, Plymouth coming up.

I know it won’t work out exactly like this but if we win our four easier fixtures then it means we need only four points from our five tougher ones. and there’s every possibility we’ll take some decent points in the next three games and give ourselves a free hit against Rotherham and Wigan.

Great result and amazing run continues for the start of McKennas career. Our defence is so impressive both defensively and offensively. The majority of games I've seen Donacien and Woolfenden rarely get out of 2nd gear, they're just both so comfortable in that back 3. Edmunson hasn't looked quite as comfortable but had a good game last night. Thompson is solid enough and decent on the ball, he doesn't often give the ball away but he's definitely a LB not at wing back, so if we continue with wing backs I'd imagine we'll have to look for a specialist over the summer.

Burns just keeps continuing to deliver, I've never known a winger/wing back to be consistently the main threat in a team, week after week. No doubt about it he is our most important attacking player, I don't think it was a coincidence that Cook lost his job after Burns had an extended spell out of the side.

I have to say despite the result and showing good episodes of play I still feel there are alot of areas we can really improve on and here's my more glass half empty view. McKennas record is phenomenal but he's had a decent run of winnable fixtures the majority of teams we've played since he's come in have been below midtable, we beat Wycombe but since then teams near or above us we've only taken 1 point from, so the next few fixtures will be alot more challenging.

In terms of last night, I still think there's a real balance to find in an attacking sense. I thought Bakinson had a mixed game, some very good moments and some very poor, definitely has a languid style of play, plus now with Morsey playing slightly higher up the pitch we've lost someone who demands the ball off his CBs. Then in terms of the front 3 I felt all had a mixed evening, they showed some real moments of quality but all gave the ball away quite frequently which made ball retention at the top of the pitch very difficult. Celina showed moments of real class but then gave the ball away too easily, Aluko had some amazing touches, and showed some amazing pieces of skill to beat his man but then either ran straight into trouble or proceeded to play and awful pass. Jackson had a half decent game but he can't hold the ball up, he's not a physical presence and all too often when he was running the channels because we only had one striker on the pitch there wasn't anyone in the boss ready to attack a cross. I feel yesterdays performance was quite reminsent of how we played under Cook from an attacking sense, struggled to hold the ball upfront but due to the quality we had and Burns that showed in the end. The main difference is how solid the defence looks.
