Such a composed display. We’re purring out there. What a change this style of football is compared to the Lambert/Cook years. A lot more bite, a lot more incisiveness, and a lot more savviness. This proves the benefit of having an intelligent manager, backed with an experienced and capable coaching staff.

An enjoyable game to watch with plenty of skill being shown and Aluko has been mesmerizing today. We started well, Lincoln had a spell where they looked threatening and then we got the first goal. We were in control for the rest of the half, scoring a good goal after a swift counter attack ended with Jackson finding the net. More of the same in the second half and we'll win this comfortably

I haven't seen Ipswich play like this for 10 years and more. Players getting into excellent positions and lovely movement. Midfield dominating, through balls, running at defenders, and two well taken goals.

Think take Celina off soon, as he is the likely reaction to more fouling and get a red card, not what we want for a big week-end ahead. And bring another striker on later to give Jackson fresh legs for Pompey.

Game is a bit scrappy right now after being somewhat stop/start with injuries. Need to get our rhythm back
