15:40 Doncaster - Joke Dancer

(Authorized gelding has a decent chance in this Class-3 Handicap Chase. Should have no trouble with distance and going. Excellent NH jockey, Ryan Mania, takes the ride for the Mrs. S. J. Smith stable. 4/1 best price, freely-available, at time of writing. If field stays at current 5-runners then E/W might be a good option, just in case he gets nabbed! :emoticon-0100-smile :bandit:)

In the penultimate race at Newbury, a Class-3 Handicap Chase, (16:35), the French-bred Monsieur Lecoq has a squeak. Ciaran Gethings on board for the Jane Williams (Devon) yard. 11/4 best price at time of writing, available in most places.

Best of luck today, Leyburnlad19, you deserve it. This Long Covid must be an absolute swine, had a couple of pals who had it. Thank goodness, they too are slowly recovering, but the improvement is oh-so-slow, as you said. I wish you a continued and speedy return back to normal.
Thank you Swanny. It's been a long long road, but hopefully at the end now.

Hello,

Been a while since I've posted, long covid has had me on my arse for months. Starting to get back in track.

One I'm on today and have a fair bit of confidence about is one of my fav small yards, Michael Madgwick.

Lingfield 3.55 - Where's Tom 7/1.

Hopefully covid hasn't muddled me too much and this one gets in the money.

All the best forumites.

Can anyone shed light on the 3.55 and why it was cancelled?

Touchy Feely didn't oblige, on her debut, but I feel that connections will be more than satisfied with that second place finish. Also displayed signs of greenness which you would envisage being eradicated, next time, as the old girl should have learned plenty from today. On Touchy Feely's next outing I would expect victory to be a formality unless she is stepped up to Listed / Graded level (always a possibility as black type would greatly increase her already considerable worth).

I did, this morn, touch on Lieutenant Henderson's form and Touchy Feely apart it was another disappointing day, for the forum's favourite trainer, with his other 3 runners, at Newbury, beaten 65 lengths, 66 lengths and a whopping 105 lengths!!! Should we have Festival fears, team?!?

Yes, we should have fears. Mainly that Henderson seems to think a 5 day festival is a good thing. Perhaps if they make the Saturday UK only then he will be truly happy. Or perhaps they could make it a schooling day instead. He likes those.
