I had a rant about this after the Coventry game.

IMO you should keep at least 1 player from each ‘partnership’ or general area on the pitch from the previous game to provide some consistency.

1 CM
1 Attacking midfielder
1 Striker if you operate with two

We saw against Coventry what happens when you chuck out an almost entirely new team, even though we won, just about.

We won’t be scoring any goals till the subs come on, hopefully at 0-0

Valery at CB, I guess, against Bowen and Antonio. That is a tough ask for our regular CBs without experimenting with someone who has only started as a CB in a back 3 before.
Not going to be too hard on him if it doesn’t come off.

I'm happy that Ralph has turned things around in the league but he has sorely misjudged what the FA Cup means to Saints fans. If we go out now it's worse than both of the 9-0s put together for me.
So pointless too if JWP can play then the others can too, he's making a point that the cup means very little to him,
