Got a damn sight nearer than Keita
And?

Chaloba and naby go in high, both dangerous, one came off worse.

The only difference here that people seem to take issue with is that naby caught Chaloba. It could have easily been the other way round. But regardless of that the action from both was dangerous or reckless therefore how can you send off one and not the other? Cos the other got cut? Give over like <laugh>

If Chaloba touched the ball (I don't see it) he grazed it with his studs that were 4ft high off the ground at the time.

So cry me a river <laugh>
Him touching the ball isn't even relevant, honestly.
I was just wondering how you watched that and didn't see any contact, as it's really obvious.
I'd suggest applying to become an official, but you're not nearly Northern enough.

Perhaps one looks at things through red glasses others don't. Then again,I think Saturday's game could have finished Leeds 4 Spurs 4.

If its not relevant why is it being brought up?

For me it's really simple.

Both go high, both reckless, one gets caught, you cannot send off one and not the other soley on the fact the other lad got studs in his balls. That's the risk you take being reckless In the tackle or going high for the ball.

Nothing to moan about imho

We all do in some capacity smiffy mate.

But if two players go in high, exactly the same approach to the ball and unfortunately one of them gets caught, you can't give a red to one and not the other.

It was a sensible decision imo.

Surely Chelski is one of, if not the, most prominent Russian owned entity in this country. If as a government you really wanted *to be seen* to be doing something (which is clearly what governments like to do), then why not sanction Abramovich and his 1 to 1 scale football game?

Goes to demonstrating your exceptionally dodgy eyesight.

They're not both reckless.
One plays the ball, is going away from his opponent and makes no contact with him.
The other is going directly towards his opponent, misses the ball entirely and heavily kicks the man.
One is serious foul play and the other isn't even anywhere close to it.

I didn't watch the game, so I just have to go with what Sky's put up here, but this is pathetic:

From the comments:
"Liverpool fan here, it is painful to watch this bloke defend all the decisions and say the ref had a good game."
"Keita very lucky to be on pitch. Two yellow cards for me, ref missed them both, and VAR doesn't review yellows. Decision making from the ref was terrible all game."

Does van Dijk interfere enough on the first one for an offside? Harsh.
Is Lukaku offside? No. The line's drawn from his ****ing elbow. "It's a factual process." No it ****ing isn't.
Is Keita's elbow a red? I think it's a yellow. Looks straight at him, but he doesn't swing it hard.
Kick in the balls? Straight red, as I've already said.
Silly handbags? Lots of yellows. Terence Trent D'arby and Havertz, plus Elliott should do it.

Dermot Gallagher? He's from Dublin, so probably. He admits to being a Celtic fan and that's it.
He's just there to agree with whatever was given, which explains his factual process bullshit.

Everton demanding an apology from the Premier League for turning two blind eyes and a sudden loss of hearing to Rodri's handball

They won't get one, of course, given both the Premier League and FA like to pretend refs are as infallible as the Pope, but it would be interesting if more clubs started doing this for patently absurd calls (or, more often than not, patently absurd lack of calls)

Never seen anything like it. That's the 3rd time we've played Liverpool this season and in every game we've been cheated by the refs.

Tell you what though TAA is special. That's the second time i've seen him live and he's blown my mind. Easily the most talented player at that club along with VVD.

Honestly I thought he was kept pretty quiet by his usual standards. So kudos for that, not many teams can keep him subdued like that.

Special talent for sure.

The only creativity LFC had was through him (bar the Mendy miskick). His vision is genuinely incredible. Thought the back four for LFC were really good and same for Chelsea's defenders.

Cant argue with any of that, was a tough watch personally, stressful. two really good teams both well organised and probably one of the most entertaining nil nils we've had for a while, especially in a final.

I reckon with an actual finisher you'd have done us before pens tbh
