Our form is nothing short of shocking. Yes the championship is tough, yes anyone can just about beat anyone, but its the manner of the defeats and even draws that are starting to piss me off. I recall our possesion stats and goal scoring for much of the season to have been excellent. Now we cant even retain possesion and never actually look like scoring! Lets get back to the team and set up that got us into the play off position in the first place. I still for the life of me cant understand the necessity of signing Hendrick. Hes a decent player but we have an abundance of decent midfielders. Field , Dozzell, Amos, Johanson, Ball.

I agree we probably didn't need to buy Hendrick, but he's far better than any of those bar Field and Johansen imo.

The bigger problem is Warburton, who seems to be struggling under the pressure.

Did you see the ball Hendrick played through to set up Adomah again today? He is better than anyone we have on a permanent deal.

Just seen the goal, feck me...... I know the ball had some wicked swerve on it but there's no way anyone should score directly from there........

Aye great ball, but if we are basing the quality of one pass on a player then Dozzells beats that any day of the week earlier in the season against cardiff setting up Gray.

To be honest mate, I will be surprised if u can supply these stats? We have won a lot of games without outplaying teams. Look at the Reading stats for example, we won 4-0 but if they could convert chances it would have been a different ball game. I love the fact, that on a very limited budget we are in the play off position, and have been almost all season, playing brilliant football at times, and sneaking results in the majority. Today was poor but actually we had 2 brilliant chances at 0-0 to score, we win 1-0 and everyone would be going crazy about what an amazing result. Keep it real everyone, and maybe just maybe ee will still be in play offs after 46 games. As a side note Barnsley beat Boro 3-1, and Millwall beat Sheff Utd
Well as an example using Blackburn as the opposition, we beat them earlier in the season with %65 possesion. There is no escaping the fact our form is poor, our performances, mainly poor.

But taking that game as an example they played for a 0-0 from the 1st minute, with time wasting throughout the whole game.

How about we all put up our best starting xi and then we can't criticize those players.

I can't remember the graphic I used to use when I used to do the matchday thread. So that's made that comment redundant then. Chortle :emoticon-0136-giggl

Im not really argueing the point yorkshire, just that our recent form has been really poor. The tactics have been experimented with in the point of the season that just stinks of desperation, maybe thats what it is and if so thats fair enough. Warbs has had a superb season and it would be a shame to see it thrown away at the final hurdle

I just think we have excelled compared to expectations, with a limited squad and not spending beyond our means. We have won lots of games where we have been poor but suddenly we are a **** team after a few poor results, and everyone is kicking off. Fans need to be real, no one thought we would be top 6 , and yet we are still there. Support the team don't continually knock them if they don't win

Doesn't matter what 11 you pick if the tactics and set up are all wrong and you don't have any inspirational leaders in the dressing room or on the pitch ! And I'm including the manager and backroom staff in this

Hendrick is better than Dozzell is now, as is Johansen, they have far more experience. Hopefully Dozzell will be up there too one day. Hendrick is also not playing the same position as Field or Ball usually play, or where I think Amos is best further forward. I think Hendrick is a very good signing and with Johansen and Field making a strong midfield 3.

Still ****ed off about this.

The experienced players need to get a grip of the game when it’s just drifting by. I’m sick of Johansen poncing his way through the game having no impact.

The strikerless experiment needs some pace to work and we have none at all. At all. Give Thomas some time as at least the kid has the legs to get us up the pitch. There was **** all there yesterday just as there was **** all at Barnsley and Millwall and not much more than that in the home games in between. I love this team but they’re in danger of turning what’s been a wonderful season very sour very quickly.

Were we really that bad? Have to confess I was too immersed in beer and conversation with the most excellent danishQPR and a couple of my Foxes mates who arrived for the second half to focus too much on the game. What happened to Dieng? First time I noticed Marshall was in goal was when he flapped around like an epileptic penguin for the goal.

Then all of a sudden we were surrounded by French people and the TV switched to the rugby.

There’s no doubt we have dropped off from the start we got through the first chunk of the season. And we have definitely pulled out results in games we would have lost in previous seasons. So a big hand to the coaches and players for being dogged and certainly punching above their weight for a decent period of this season (that’s not easy to do in itself).

One thing that hit me yesterday was the positive way the commentators talked about our team as strong, determined and good to watch. I think we forget that sometimes when we are so intent on seeing and observing every minutia of our game.

We have done a lot of good things this season. I’d love us to get to the play-offs (and probably be completely gutted and hugely disappointed if/when we lose out). I am however really pleased to see us improve again for another season. I have tried to temper my disappointment when we haven’t played well as I know I can be more vocal in disappointment than success. We’ve done well. I’d love to see us strengthen once again for next season and be that little better again.

Nah I dont think we were that bad, mainly hindered by having no recognised striker, Willock out of position, Albert off form and very few crosses coming in even when Gray came on. Marshall error for the goal but he made some very good saves too. We also looked generally tired. Dieng took a whack from Gallagher when he was trying to reach a cross close to our goal, unintentional I thought. He played on but didn't reappear for the 2nd half. Hopefully just a bang on the leg or foot he'll get over quick.
