Match Preview from the official site;
THIRD play fifth at Ewood Park in a crunch Sky Bet Championship clash on Saturday lunchtime - kick-off 12.30pm.
Rangers travel north high on adrenaline following Wednesday's late win over Blackpool in W12, and know that victory would put further daylight between ourselves and this weekend's hosts.
Blackburn are winless in five - but boast the third-best home record in the division having won an impressive 10 Championship games from the 16 they've played at Ewood Park.
Saturday's contest is therefore finely poised, with the R's aware that three points would also lift us into second spot ahead of the 3pm fixtures.
Team News
QPR: Rob Dickie returns from suspension and is in line to replace the now-suspended Dion Sanderson, following his red card versus Blackpool.
Sam McCallum has been passed fit - but it is unclear if Lee Wallace and Lyndon Dykes will return.
Blackburn: Dutch defender Deyovaisio Zeefuik is likely to return to the squad for the visit of the R's, but it is unclear if Ian Poveda and Bradley Dack will feature. Daniel Ayala and Tayo Edun aren't expected be involved. Ben Brereton-Diaz is definitely out.
Pre-match Talk
Mark Warburton (QPR manager): "That (Wednesday) could well be a galvanising moment for us. The players responded to Blackpool’s late equaliser magnificently well. However, there are a lot more points still to play for.
"I’ve huge respect for Tony [Mowbray] – Blackburn are extremely dangerous on the counter attack and are a really good team. The way he’s changed them from being a possession-based team to one who counter attack has been admirable.
"They’ve won 10 out of 16 games at home and we know we face another tough test.
"Their incentive is going above us in the table and we’ve got to be at our very best to take the three points that we desire tomorrow.”
Tony Mowbray (Blackburn manager): "There's a big frustration about the results over the last few weeks.
"The team are working really hard. The obvious thing is the lack of goals. It's not been a problem most of the season, but we've lost a player (Ben Brereton-Diaz) who's scored a lot of goals. It's now down to others to step up.
"QPR are having a really good season. They've not got one of the biggest budgets in the league. Mark Warburton's done a very good job.
"They deserve to be where they are in the league. But if we beat them, we go above them, back into third, which will be a big boost for everybody."
COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
