Did anyone hear defence secretary Ben Wallace spouting "The Scots Guards kicked the backside of Tsar Nicholas I in 1853 in Crimea - we can always do it again." What a pompous prick, send that fooker out there.
Appeasement failed once before. Allow Hitler, sorry I mean Putin to take a bit of what he wants and hope he doesn't want more? Fat chance.
Putin and his riches will be in an underground underworld city, built decades ago. Orchestrating this like a coward...
Does nobody else think it’s embarrassing how politicians of countries use tanks and soldiers to fight wars to gain f uck all in the end, except the loss of your loved ones. First thing I would do is shoot all them f uckers and let normal people get on with there normal lives, bunch of c unts.
Sounds like NATO are going to leave Ukraine to it. Putin wins again. At some point the world needs to stand up to him.
We need to wag another finger at Putin. Tell him he’s very naughty. And we can probably say goodbye to Taiwan. It’s all very depressing.
It puts everyone in a difficult position, "legally" we cant just jump in and the ramifications could send us all into a Fallout game. In a non nuclear war NATO would be fine at sorting it out but it justs needs the daft get to push a red button and we are all done for. I wonder if there are moves to get rid of Putin
I've taken that the other way. I assume you mean what the NATO secretary general is saying on Sky News? I take it that we were trying to use diplomacy but he's said that's gone now and NATO are currently sending more troops to the area on top of what they already did and NATO has also approved the Commanders in charge of militaries to use whatever force they deem fit. He also said we won't let anyone attack an ally and we will do what we can to prevent that. Ok they've done **** all atm which has allowed Russia to invade Ukraine, but for me now, that's it. Biden only recently said Russia is the biggest threat to America, this is his 'in' to try to remove that threat and if they decide to go to war then as always the UK will follow and this time it's a 'legitimate' reason. The only question now is whether China and North Korea decide to do something. If they do, then the **** really has hit the fan! Either way, I think the time for diplomacy has passed and more extreme measures will be taken unfortunately.
I think NATO, and individual leaders seemed to be choosing their words very carefully. They are either playing for time or backing down. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Ukraine with a new puppet government within days that quickly agrees a peace treaty/ceasefire with a new special relationship between the two countries.
Placing an economic wedge between Russia and China might be the right way to go, Putin will have problems after he ousts the Ukrainian Government in selling his oil and gas, This naked aggression can not be curtailed by force, and he knows it. He has got away with murder too long, time for the world has to wake up, and for all our sakes defeat this evil ..
Apparently the Russian invasion of Ukraine is fake news spread by SAFC to take the heat off Kristjaan Speakman . . . . Boris showed them how to do it
Now with everyone having mobile phones and the internet why don’t ordinary folk from any country just say they don’t want a war and aren’t going to accept it, just down tools completely until the mad c unts back off instead of toadying along to the bastards
I 100% agree mate, everyone is choosing what they say very carefully, but as Boris put it, it'll be discussion, sanctions and then military... It's all posturing and following the process, which includes playing for time while alternative plans and measures are put in place. The UK and US will take months to mobilise a force able to do anything and by that point we'll know full well what Putin's intentions are (some reports saying he won't stop at Ukraine but I don't believe that) but in the mean time we need to cut everything off to him and increase the sanctions to anyone who continues to trade with Russia.
Exactky. I always think that 99% of ordinary people just want to get out bed , go to work , farm the land or whatever having no interest or desire to move a border or have extra land . I’ m sure in this case ordinary Russians can comprehend and believe that NATO is purely defensive and would never threaten Russia. Pity this egoistical idiot cannot see the same sense
NATO costs a lot of money to function and now is the time for them to step up. I believe the Russian people will vote Putin out next chance they get. But by then and by the time the sanctions take effect it will all be too late. The sanctions tho will affect the Russian economy massively in time and that's when the Russian citizens will hopefully kick him out.
