Q1, How do we fill the MKM?
A, Win regularly.
Which is the number one answer.

Success is a driver.

Stuff like, “I went once and had to queue for half an hour and then the ticket I printed didn’t work”
“I took my two young boys, but one of them would not go through the turnstile.

Two answers that can easily be incorporated into a short summary.

Make it easier, quicker and more family friendly to get into the stadium.

The OP was asking for ideas to improve the overalIssues from the past regarding

The idea’s already been applied at certain grounds. The aim is to give home supporters the maximum TV exposure to celebrate a goal and the exact opposite for the away fans. Home fans behind both goals helps create a better atmosphere for City and reduces the influence away support behind a goal can muster.

Spot on.... Villa, L**ds, Everton, Norwich for example have this arrangement ......when watching on tele 'where's the away fans?'

Was one of his lads Augustus Gloop?

A move to inconvenience away fans in any way seems a bit like shooting yourself in the foot.Start ****ing away fans about and the compliment will be returned in a tit for tat way?

It's all very well if you don't go to away games,it won't affect you, those that do go will feel the brunt of other Club's responses.

when did they start separatng home and away supporters I know they do but wondered when. When I was living in the area there was no sepration. Not sure why you need it now.
Especiallly as everyone is seated.
As far as I'm aware it started in Glasgow for old firm encounters...In 83 B.C.

We declined it because it does not fit into our perception of how the answer will be found to the question asked.

We looked at surveys and they are too limited. What if the answer isn’t what is included in the survey. How do you ask teenagers, families and adults what it would take to get them to games?

There is an option to answer 'Other'. Surely this provides the opportunity?

There is an option but surveying people who actually go to games doesn’t provide any answer to why people don’t go or what it would take to make them come back.

Ask your friends and family who don’t go why not and let me know.

Leeds started doing that because it meant they could charges away fans more for sitting in the corner of the best stand. It also meant less stewarding and policing than if away fans weren't stood next to the knobheads in the stand behind the goal. Fans being out of sight was an added bonus.
You can't see away fans at Old Trafford either.

Fenerbahce stick them in the corner. Obviously we couldn't stand up in the upper tier like they do as the West Upper is so high and steep it is dangerous according to the SAG. Hope Acun shows them video of Fenerbahce fans bouncing up and down in their upper tiers with no problem.

My dad died before we got to Wembley (first time). My youngest brother thought the football and the past owners were **** so jacked his pass. I did message him last week suggesting he would need to get another and he did say maybe. My eldest brother has always been a on off supporter. He would rather go fishing and he used to work 7 days a week. He only works six days a week now.

I don't have any friends.

Yes but those at the ground, including the players, know where they are. I get the point about attacking your own fans both halves, but not sure how not being able to see away fans on telly has any effect on the game at the ground

Woah…
Interesting rant but when did I slag off Humberside for their show?
I didn’t even hear any of it.
Apart from agreeing that it won’t have helped sales I’ve not passed any comment on it as far as I know?
All I’ve done is queried whether there really has been such a significant increase and disagreed with you that we’re ‘going back to the 70’s and 80’s’

So you agree we should be pushing fit safe standing now? That’s quite the turn round

General comment in reply to conversation from earlier in the day.

Some were choosing to ignore the fact Burnsy debate around violence was done to coincide with Paul woodford launching the SMC's "is this my game?" campaign and chose to believe instead Burnsy was trying to drag the club through the mud and ruin the Barnsley ticket promo.

I've always wanted to see railed seating. Yet another reason why the scrotes who can't behave need stamping out - it'll never happen if we don't.

You are wrong.

The BBC planned the days programming. It was changed because of Fulham and Sheffield. Combined with quotes from Phil Buckinghams article they invited supporters groups to comment of the increasing disorder at games. This was at 7 am and continued throughout the day.
Cocaine was not mentioned in the invite, sniffer dogs or even the SMC were not mentioned and from what I can make out the BBC knew about the sniffer dogs but it wasn’t on the planning, it was brought forward. The SMC was discussing it with James Hogarth.

Woodford. Was interviewed on kofi. He contributed twice to the Burnsy debate via text thanking him for a 'sensible debate and his clip. From earlier was played. Woodford and his "is this my game" campaign was also the lead story on drive.

Are you telling me that's not been coordinated with the SMC?

It did not feature at the start of the day. They only mentioned Phil Buckinghams article. And only asked about increased disorder at games.
