You are wrong. The BBC planned the days programming. It was changed because of Fulham and Sheffield. Combined with quotes from Phil Buckinghams article they invited supporters groups to comment of the increasing disorder at games. This was at 7 am and continued throughout the day. Cocaine was not mentioned in the invite, sniffer dogs or even the SMC were not mentioned and from what I can make out the BBC knew about the sniffer dogs but it wasn’t on the planning, it was brought forward. The SMC was discussing it with James Hogarth.
Its the club that have asked for ideas on how to improve things (attendance, experience, etc). HCST are welcoming comments from non-members too.
It is HCST and HCSS. The OSC is canvassing opinions of those that stopped going or have never been. We only have one question and do not want to influence the answers. Acun wanted to know what it would take to fill the stadium. What the club needs to do to fill the stands. So that is what we are trying to find out. An example response is, I would go if it was easier to be with my mates. It is hard to all get seats together.
Are emails just being sent at random then T.O.M? I checked my junk/spam folder after reading this thread but there's nothing there remotely connected to the Club?(I've got 4 Ukranian/Russian women desperate to meet up for a f**k,3 offers to arrange my funeral, some witch doctor who wants me to sign up for a 'manhood elongation ritual' and a very pleasant terminally ill African woman who wants to leave me £26,543,879.06 if I drop her my bank details)... Nothing from the OSC or the Club.
Not true. I haven't seen the OSC one but q's 5 to 10 of the HCST one are clearly (directly or implicitly) about how to improve things.
The OSC declined an offer to work with HCST. At the time I was told that HCST was working with HCSS they were mentioned in the conversation, if that is wrong happy to withdraw it.
Woah… Interesting rant but when did I slag off Humberside for their show? I didn’t even hear any of it. Apart from agreeing that it won’t have helped sales I’ve not passed any comment on it as far as I know? All I’ve done is queried whether there really has been such a significant increase and disagreed with you that we’re ‘going back to the 70’s and 80’s’ So you agree we should be pushing fit safe standing now? That’s quite the turn round
Just took a look in my spam to see if anything from City and found an email offering for free to get my penis to 12". Why they'd think i'd take a reduction just because it's free I don't know.
I know what was asked. The issue is that if you look on here and social media. Everything posted just about gives reasons for not going! Some of the debate is actually dividing the support that goes. Where are the positive suggestions?
Why was that offer declined? Interested to hear about that, I would think now is a great time for supporters groups to work together.
We declined it because it does not fit into our perception of how the answer will be found to the question asked. We looked at surveys and they are too limited. What if the answer isn’t what is included in the survey. How do you ask teenagers, families and adults what it would take to get them to games?
The OP was asking for ideas to improve the overalIssues from the past regarding The idea’s already been applied at certain grounds. The aim is to give home supporters the maximum TV exposure to celebrate a goal and the exact opposite for the away fans. Home fans behind both goals helps create a better atmosphere for City and reduces the influence away support behind a goal can muster.
