Sure is as three of mine have just been blown down, great!A good time to be a fencer.
Was beginning to think the whole thing had been overstated as it was a pleasant but breezy day, sea had returned to normal conditions that we see during a force 8 gale......... we've been downgraded from Red to Orange warning for the rest of the day........ However a few minutes ago we had a huge gust of wind, worse than anything we had whilst in the Red Zone accompanied by horizontal rain and sleet.......
It's still on it's way to you all........
Not looking forward to my flights over to the match tomorrow after that.Somebody is live streaming flights landing at Heathrow........ Not for the faint hearted......

Yeah, I think they got the timing wrong. Media were reporting worst winds in Cornwall were after the Red warning period had ended.
Not easy to get it spot on I guess.
Seemed pretty accurate for here.
Dying down now, but still the occasional big gust.
A bit different here in Bucks 999s.A bit of wind here today. Not particularly bad. If you didn't listen to the MSM it would be a bit windy. Nothing unusual for this time of year. Me and the dog went out at lunchtime and there was a few gust but nothing out of the ordinary. Neill Fergusson and SAGE are predicting 500 mph winds though. Useless ****s. If you didn't listen to the news you would just get on with your life. Twenty four hour news is a load of old **** and should be ignored.
Luckily my kids trampoline is still firmly on the ground.

Bastard lolStep Mum in N.Devon has lost her power, her greenhouse and for a while her garden furniture. Record gusts of 122 mph in the Isle of Wight. Sounds like a bad one. Here in Thailand it's sunny, 30 plus and a gentle breeze.
