Coming up on BBC4 at 10.35 - Marianne and Leonard: Words of Love.

Nick Broomfield's beautiful and moving documentary about the love affair between Leonard Cohen and Marianne Ihlen.

    Highly recommended.

I'm watching 'Reacher' on Amazon Prime ... It's great. It's like watching all of the normal people giving all of the governments and globalist of the world a dry slap.

26 days into my Spanish Language course with DuoLingo and really enjoying it. Glad I paid for the full version as gives me a bit more to go on…stories, podcasts and extra lessons etc.
Think it helps that I had background in Spanish previously so it isn’t all new to me.
Being strict and aiming for at least 30 mins a day (when I’m doing a 12 hour shift) and a lot more when off
We’ll recommended to keep the Alzheimer’s at bay.

I've started doing Wordle, a right headfuck some days. Thought it was a piece of piss at first as the words were fairly easy to find, then got stumped until I realised that some of the words duplicate letters. It's a good concept, guy has made a good wedge out of selling it to NY Times so let's see how long it'll be before the ads start popping up.

I've been doing it for a while, it was a tough one yesterday - Cynic.

There's a game show called Lingo on in the afternoons based on the same concept.

Got it in 4 today, but not a word I think I have ever used in conversation.

Got it in a fluky 3 due to a lucky second choice. Do we need a Wordle thread?

Yeah, but the discipline of not revealing the answer must be maintained!

I think we need a separate thread for all you Wordle users. I suggest we call it the “Sad Sheep Baa-Baa” thread. :)

Just finished it - much better casting for the main role, if you've read any of the books, you'll know the main character is 6ft 5 - even in his best high heels, Tom Cruise doesn't measure up although he is a better actor.

You do have to wonder what world these people operate in though - leaving a trail of destruction behind him in any normal world he'd be locked up, but they just keep letting the body count mount up. Fantasy **** eh? Did enjoy it though, he's hard as nails

Just watched the Tupac documentary and I'm not certain how I feel about him. My instinct is that he was a decent soul who was led astray.
