Losing 1 nil against the league leaders isn’t terrible at all. However, we definitely need to pick up maximum points against Barnsley and Peterborough and probably a couple of points from Sheff Utd and QPR, just to stop the losing streak and build some momentum. 8 points in the next four games would be a strong end to the month.

This seems to be the prevailing attitude on here
Phew didn’t we do well getting beat one nil against the league leaders and certainly our manager seems to have this view
Fulham have lost or drawn a third of their games in the league
We never went for it at all
We had a five minute spell when we showed we could have a go
Came out second half and the game just ebbed away
No brave substitutions to try and get a point or three
Just the same like for like and late subs too.
I’m disappointed my team didn’t go for it.

Having to bring on players like Tyler Smith and Moncur instead of the likes of Eaves didn’t help our case.
We didn’t look bad on the ball when we moved it about yesterday just didn’t do it anywhere near quick enough to cause them problems which I feels been a recurring issue with us all season. Other teams play 2 passes and are in our final third we play 2 and it’s still with our centre backs

I’m disappointed we didn’t go for it either but after they scored, it was an uphill battle. It was clear we lacked quality to threaten them.

Because of context. We've got league one players playing against the top of the table team. We had two strikers out, we had a ****house of a pitch to play on and came up against a team that was assembled for a cost of something at least ten times what ours cost. These aren't excuses, they're factors.
In a game like that, quality will always win out because Fulham didn't like the conditions either, so that levelled it out for us, but with strikers like Mitrovic in your squad, you're always going to be capable of pulling something out the bag. Who do we have that's an equivalent? KLP? Not even close, and therein lies the issue.

It's not like people are celebrating the defeat, nobody wants us to lose, but at the same time it's not like we were playing Barnsley or Reading, sometimes you just have to accept our place in the footballing world and that our squad is a world away from some others.

In Summer, you may well see a lot of money chucked into our squad and games like that will have a less predetermined outcome. We just need to bed in the tactics this season, potentially limp over the line and get into Summer ready to go.

Blackpool beat them with a team of L1 players. and that’s a load of bollocks anyway they aren’t L1 players in city’s team and you know it
    Sheff u beat them
Maybe we should just give them the points on Tuesday?
Do I have to mention recent fa cup upsets?
we went out to not get beat heavily

Not to curry favour, but this is absolutely right.... the conditions yesterday levelled the playing field and even allowing for the fact their players are/were better, we never really went for it....

They’ve scored 26 goals in their last 6 games their form of the season. To go for it with the quality of squad we have would’ve been suicide which if I remember correctly you labelled playing 4 at the back just that.

We had chances to get something from the game which means the plan worked. Defensively solid with the chance to hit them on the break. Forss scores that chance or Longman taps it in we look at the game completely different. We could’ve been 4-0 down at HT against Bournemouth but we didn’t and took our 1 big chance of the game and got something from the game. We had our big chance yesterday and missed so got nowt. Could’ve gone for it more but then we risked shattering our goal difference that we have on the teams below us

****ing hell you’re like a broken record. It was meant to be 4-3-3 but KLP and Longman just had to play defensive all game because of how much better they are then us. Call it bollocks all you want but you don’t know who I talk to

9 of the first XI yesterday were part of our title winning squad.

If we had "gone for it" and been boned 7-0 at home, would you have had the same stance? Probably not.

One season in league 1 doesn’t make them league one players. Stop looking for excuses for a weak kneed performance
And as I said earlier it doesn’t mean play five forwards and not defend does it

I hope you realise you're talking about a player who's keeping Mo Salah MK2 out of the team.

It does when they perform better in that league than the current one.

    Ridiculous
We’ve had big bids in for klp and greaves. McLoughlin acquitting himself well
Smallwood had spent around eight seasons in the championship
    We’ve just paid for longman
Forss is allegedly a pl player
Honey man is certainly a championship player. Elder is and Fleming is keeping him out
It’s weak and it’s lazy to label them league 1 after a defeat.
