Although I would love a couple of days out in Majorca on a boat like this.
My alternative however is a bit bigger.

Mine would be more like this...

Not sure, what speed do you need? Never tried tbh… top speed is 37 knots. But is ****ing expensive at those speeds 700 litres /hour of fuel…I try to stick to 20 knots

In reality I would use the Williams tender, that has a jetski engine & is crazy fast & great fun
You seem to have spelled miles per gallon wrong…

we were lucky and had a few holidays in 2020. only had one cancelled and refunded. scotland just before lockdown then when it briefly opened up we did a corfu villa and a few week and weekend breaks in the uk. last year again greek islands twice but a lot of messing about with the testing and form filling, bike trips to scotland amd ripon ish. and 3 long weekend breaks. so the pandemic didnt affect us much. just lucky.

So where do you go when you want advice about absolutely anything? Obviously Not606.
I'm after some recommendations for a 10 day break in the sun in May. Has to be by the beach and somewhere fairly quiet (ie old fishing village).
Mrs A is struggling with mini back fractures due to chemo this time last year. Therefore need to keep the journey as short as possible, especially the flight and the transfer. Ideally from Donny or Leeds but possibly East Midlands and at a push, Manchester.
Since we last went away in 2019, she has battled cancer twice so deserves a break and hoping to just relax in the sun on a sandy beach, possibly with water sports/golf close by for me and nearby bars restaurants. We like the Greek Isles, and looking for something similar, but nearer.
We're thinking The Algarve (which we know), but would like to look at Southern Spain.
Any recs?

Probably was 60 years ago??

Lanzarote,Playa Blanca in the South is very nice and no lager louts floating about down there.

If I could time travel, we could go long haul!

So is that Playa Blanca in Lanzarotte or Southern Spain? Think there's both?!

It's Playa Blanca in Lanzarote:emoticon-0148-yes: Some decent, centrally located hotels down there, lovely walk along the promenade and some nice restaurants.I haven't been to the Algarve for a long time but the weather's always decent there too.

Wherever you go,have a ball, you deserve it both of you.
