Eh!

How had Serenity got any resemblance to Blake 7? That's a mental statement.

Sorry buy I just don't get the Star wars love in. I watched it and enjoyed the first time around but it's not in the multiple watch top 50. It's a B western set in space.
more of a fantasy adventure film, you got wizards, a princess locked in a 'tower', a heroic band of misfits. Or, if you want, it's about a religious fanatic in the desert who talks a naive boy into helping him start a holy war on the legitimate state.
Star Wars was a seminal film, it stood alone in it's genre until The Empire Strikes Back came out.

Films I've watched more times than I can remember...

As mentioned before, Goodfellas.
Back to the Future
Goonies
Stand By Me
Naked Gun
Groundhog Day
Four Lions
Some Like It Hot
Usual Suspects
12 Angry Men
The Maltese Falcon
Shawshank Redemption
The Good The Bad and the Ugly
Fistful of Dollars
Pulp Fiction
North by Northwest
Rear Window
Pan's Labyrinth
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Terminator
Terminator 2
Alien
Aliens

Yeh Empire defo 1st.
I've probably watched the first more than the third.

First one is probably a better movie but I have watched Return more

I like the jungle scenes…the ewok stuff

Jenny Agutter oh yes. The catalogue of films I've noted where she gets her kit off. Logan's Run another :bandit:

Anyone seen "Falling Down" coz nobody seems to mention it.
Great film imo, well acted and gives a good incite into how small things can push a troubled person over the edge.

EDIT.........bit sarcastic with the first sentence because i can't believe it's had no love

It was cliché driven big sky Western set in space with a hokey script predictable subplots. We had seen it all before with Audie Murphy as Mark Hamill. The only thing it had going for it was the SFX and the score. I can't say I didn't enjoy it when i first saw it because I did. Empire strikes back was better. Return of the Jedi was about the same. The middle three were poor and the latest were OK. Rogue one is by far the best Star wars movie so far.

Serenity is better than them all imho.

I have seen it a couple of times. Not one I'd sit and watch if I was flicking through the channels and it came up. Not that remarkable to be honest.

Indiana Jones, now that's different gravy!

There's a few I came across when I was making my list, where they're very good films (which Falling Down no doubt is) but I've not watched them like over a dozen times for example. A couple that spring to mind are City of God or Shutter Island.

Seems like the topic has changed from ‘watched 100’s of times’ to ‘list your fave films’

The Thing- dozens of times
Manhunter- over 20 that's foreshore!
She we wore a yellow ribbon/Red river/The Cowboys/The searchers- seen them all on countless occasions, mainly rainy Sunday afternoons.
White heat- look ma, top of the list
Apocalypse Now- When this is on Aldo don't surf.
Life of Brian- I say 50 you say 45!
