Great movie soundtracks is probably another thread in itself But Oh Brother would be right up there near the top on that
I may have mentioned this before but those who like Bluegrass should really check out the Dead south. Brilliant band. More Bluetrash though.
Tbh my favourite Coen film, which I've also watched multiple times is... Miller's Crossing. A 10 all day long.
9's is as high as I go, 10 is reserved for when I was 7 years old watching Star Wars at the cinema. Usual suspects gets a 9 though.
I haven't seen that, will check it out Raising Arizona is another fave of mine from the Coen Brothers
Through adult eyes it's cheesy as ****, but I'll still watch it now and again. But as a 7 year old, it blew my ****ing mind, and no cinematic experience since has matched it. Serenity, meh, it's ok bit of a Blakes 7 rip-off though.
Eh! How has Serenity got any resemblance to Blake 7? That's a mental statement. Sorry buy I just don't get the Star wars love in. I watched it and enjoyed the first time around but it's not in the multiple watch top 50. It's a B western set in space.
1 to 10? Miller's crossing Oh brother The big Lebowski No country for old men Raising Arizona Blood simple The tragedy of Macbeth True Grit Fargo Buster Scrubbs
