It very much matters as recruitment is the cornerstone to success. Can be the greatest coach in world but if players aren’t up to snuff then banging head against brick wall.
Nothing I’ve seen from speakman so far shows me he has an eye for a player.

A defeat tomorrow and things could turn very ugly, fans are getting impatient and the worm is turning.
Even the whole non disclosure in regards to how much KLD owns stinks in my opinion.

Isn't that what I just said?
Its not unusual to do things this way. Its quite common on the continent.

i fear you may be right, early season we looked like promotion certainties and are now finding it hard to fathom how that team is now playing.

Which I why it should be left to a manager not somebody pushing a few buttons above him.
I couldn’t care less what they do on continent . The greatest managers in premier league history Ferguson, Wenger and Mourinho managed just fine with their own judgement and that of trusted colleagues.

Doing it the 'traditional' British way has got SAFC a long way over the past 86 years, hasn't it?

Done well when we tried with Di Canio as well didn’t it. The worst recruitment I have ever witnessed that!

Yeah it wasn't good. Di Fanti did an interview where he said Short told him to buy on the cheap.

Well I’d say that we are following that particular model to the letter at the minute.
