Cant remember mccann publicly criticising any player in his tenure (including during 'that' relegation) apart from Smith following that Wales trip.

    Ryan Longman...
Understand Ryan Longman's permanent move to Hull City has been completed. Big news for City and a fantastic piece of business by the club

I just wonder where we're at with GH contract.... this is as important as any incoming. Come to think of it, I wonder what the thoughts are on Eaves now, I think a month ago they'd have let his contract run down. Now he looks a player with a value....

I think the main problem with Smith, was that he’s not a very good footballer. :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Don’t you mean he was nowhere near as good as he thought he was?

I didn't take it as him seriously thinking we could reach the play offs. Took it more as a message about his positive mindset and that he looks up not down.
Unrealistic to seriously think we could make play offs this season. We would need incredible rub of green, and too many others faltering. But we can still #daretodream I guess. More likely, hit the ground running for a good go at it next season. Great to once again have hope and ambition.

We'd need to finish the season like we did last season, though this isn't L1.

Let's get to 46 points and see how many games are left to build on that.

A combined £750k for Longman and Slater is a sensational bit of business.

    Fans' worry...
No need to panic, folks. Deals for Longman, Sayyadmanesh and Forss are done. Expecting announcements in the not too distant future, but rest assured, they are complete.

No surprise, but other clubs were also after Longman which has probably forced us to pull the trigger.

£700k is a bargain, I was expecting at least £2m

700k for Longman is an absolute robbery, esp as he's got 18 months on his contract left, genuinely think he's been as good as KLP since he came into the team at wing back, he obv loves it here as well which is just brilliant, chuck in Slater for 50k.....and oh dang....superb business

Great bit of business for Longman, as said could well be a highish sell on clause, but still a good signing.
