Apparently the In Bruce We Trust banner was in a bit of a state when it was taken down. I can remember a conversation about it but not who I had it with, it might have been someone from the club or on here.
Not much help, I know, but the last time I saw it on display it did look a bit tired. I used to stand not far from it, just down from where Filey stood.

Would be better to have a new one with a more ferocious looking tiger on it.
Why mention Brid? There are sad twats there who have latched onto Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea and, worst of all Leeds but never come across one who has done so with Newcastle.
Grew up in the next street to someone whose parents had moved here from Newcastle. He brought up his kids right, the only 2 at my lads school with Newcastle shirts. Apart from them years ago have never seen a Newcastle shirt in Brid.
Maybe it ended up in the New Forest?
It may give Acun a nudge in the right direction.
