Outside the box, but Duncan Ferguson? He'll be away once the place is rebranded "Frank Lampards Everton". Like I say, outside the box.

I hadn't seen any of the Ferguson stuff when I posted my original post.

Safc says announcement about interim coaching set up will be communicated shortly so doesn’t look like it.

The other side of the coin we need to keep in mind is that LJ was well in with the City group, spent time in Germany (Leipzig I think?) And had a load of contacts. I hope the likes of Marwood (I know he is a MLF anyway) still trusts us with the likes of Doyle, Roberts and others going forward. LJ seemed to always know somebody somewhere.

I'm just going by his time at Peterborough really as I know a few lads that heard things about his time there. Totally uninspiring fella, struggled to get any enthusiasm about the place, players didn't really have the upmost respect for him. I don't want someone like that here tbh.
Yes hes got a league one promotion but so has Phil Parkinson.

I don't know anything about what Duncan Ferguson is like as coach but based on the kind of player he was (which means nothing in coaching terms, admittedly) it would be a big no from me. Wouldn't imagine he'd fit the profile the club would want.

Didn't anchelotti want to take him to Madrid when he left?

Highly regarded coach at Everton and meant to have done really well with the younger age groups.

A fair few Everton fans wanted him to replace rafa

None of the recent Everton mangers have moved him on from Everton tbh. Not sure if he is a good coach or just hard as **** though.

O'rourke clearly had talksport early on. One of the presenters on Bents bootroom was adamant that Ferguson was leaving Everton. This was about half 6 ish. Was on about him dropping into league one. I think he would snap our hands off.
