And it could be because he's guilty by association whatever happens. People have drawn their own conclusions before an investigation has even started, as it's evident from the comments here. How many others elsewhere?
So the damage is done - and it was very easily done.
There was a report in the MEN recently of a woman who had made countless complaints of staliking by her ex-partner. All the harassing messages came from his social media accounts - or so it seemed, until the police bothered to investigate on both sides. It then became apparent that she had set up these accounts using her email address to frame him. She got 10 months for perverting the course of justice.
I'm not saying this is the case here, but pointing out that it's easy to create an impression of something if you have a mind to do so. Posting allegations on social media for the world to see is an easy way to damage the repuation of a high profile person, irrespective of the truth of the allegations.
Why not have the dignity and decency to go to the police with the allegations first rather than court publicity?

Guilt by association is when someone else does something wrong and you're their friend/relative/etc.
This is just assuming guilt from limited information.

I'd suggest that he should have the dignity and decency not to rape and assault his girlfriend.

Which brings the argument full circle because you assume his guilt based on whatever is on social media!

I'm assuming his guilt based upon the audio of him raping someone.
If it turns out that it's fake/not him/some weird roleplaying ****, then I'll change my mind.

    Let's ask Naby Keita

...as long as KloppSucker is fine with that, given his apparent issue with people bringing up rape charges when they're specific to his team's players (but nobody else's)

The BBC actually saying it's him that's been arrested, which is a little unusual:

They're normally a little more cautious than that, for legal reasons.

I mean they've spent the last six weeks trying not to suggest a certain group of people have repeatedly broken the law...

In order to be punished by the state for a crime, he is required to be proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt. For everything else including employment, comments on social media etc everyone is entitled to come to an opinion on any evidence they find. If he didn't do it he will be entitled to damages from anyone who caused him a loss by misunderstanding the evidence. Man United have a duty of care to other people in their employment and those he will meet in the course of his job. It would be outrageous if they didn't suspend him. If she has fabricated the whole thing then she will be the one punished and deservedly so. If she didn't I hope she sues everyone on social media who suggested she did.

    Assumptions. Which is my point.
I wouldn't want anyone to make assumptions of this kind about me - and nor would you.
I don't know what he's done - and I wouldn't look to social media to find out.

People wouldn't have the same evidence to make assumptions like this about me.
I can only assume that you haven't looked or listened to any of it. Is that the case?

    Accusations have been made.
They are quite nasty, so the judiciary will now have to act.

Beyond that, IMHO the time for the details is in a court case.

Where did I say those things are comparable to rape or at the same level?, anybody with half a brain would realize that is a given. I was just merely highlighting the double standards and general mentality of your average Pool fan.

Either that or we weren't willing to cough up enough for him. Based on our transfer (in)activity, wouldn't surprise me if that were the case.
