No it doesn’t, but we are still in there if the others balls it up, I just can’t see them breaking to be honest, and if we go on another bad streak we will be lucky to make the playoffs.

Because Wigan and Rotherham will have bad spells and traditionally 2 points per game gets you up. Take care of that and we'll be ok
The assumption amongst so many fans seems to be that Wigan and Rotherham will win every game but that simply isn't true

That was Plymouth quite recently ...

... they're now sixth and slipping out of the playoffs.

Let's see them win all their games in hand first. As we've experienced in recent seasons, games in hand are no guarantee of wins

The teams around us have to play each other so are bound to drop points ...

... Wycombe have Wigan, Rotherham, Plymouth, etc, for example.

Who knows what injuries and suspensions teams will have and who'll have a run of good/bad results.

they have had some very easy matches this month. All four bottom teams and they’re not exactly smashing them out the park.

Feb is a different matter entirely, they face all the top teams and a fixture build-up. If they shine though in Feb, fare enough. Hopefully they don’t and we do our bit by kicking their arse when we meet

So far this season Rotherham, Plymouth and Wigan have all won the league ...

... I'm hoping we get our turn at the end of April.

Last two games they've played teams from the bottom four, scraped through conceding goals in both games.
Not saying they aren't on a good run but this league anybody can beat anybody so it ain't finished by a very long chalk.

FFS, this is getting ridiculous now.

I'm sure at Roker Park, in the thirties, they just rolled the body up in an old tarp and sent the widow a signed photo of the manager and a ham.

People die all the time, will they stop the London Marathon if some knacker, dressed as a three seater sofa, has a heart attack and goes to that great DFS in the sky ...

... get on with the match ffs, people die all the time, it's not the end of the world.

Well, it is for them obviously, but why should their passing impinge on our lives.

    STOPPAGE
    Blackburn 0-0 Middlesbrough

There is a medical emergency in the stand at Ewood Park.

Play has temporarily been suspended to allow for treatment to be given to the individual.

We hope all is well with them, and that we can continue.

Been thinking along these same lines for a while now, if there's an issue within the crowd which doesn't impinge on the playing surface then why are we stopping games.
Seems that the go to people in these scenario's are the club's medical teams when I always thought there had to be an on duty medical team such as St John's etc to deal with such issues.
Whilst I have great sympathy for those involved I think it's getting out of hand now.

You get quicker medical attention at a match than you do calling an ambulance <laugh>
