Huge let off for us, long range deflected effort hits the inside of the both but somehow bounces out. Could be 2/3-0 Everton, we’ve barely tested their keeper despite having more of the ball.
 
Close for us, Mundle with good work down the right and a nice cross into Robson who heads it inches wide. Our only real chance of the second half and it’s in the 92nd min.

Lovely ball that. It’s been a struggle for the lads to create a lot without a big physical presence it seems, especially on this pitch.

Really poor overall. We had the ball for large periods but done absolutely nothing with it, don’t think their keeper made a legitimate save all game. Won’t have done any favours for players trying to assess any scouts looking for loan deals.

Yeah a frustrating one. I think that’s their first defeat in 9 though? So maybe more of a blip. Like I said I don’t follow them as closely as I’d like to be able to.

I think the likes of White and Bowden could be good options for FL clubs who play in the right way for those players. I’ve seen more of White but I like both of them in terms of finding space and how they strike the ball. Devine is going to suffer from a lack of positional certainty IMO. I don’t know if he’s a 10 or an 8. Then again he’s still so young that it’s less of an issue now but might be in a couple of years if it isn’t resolved.

This looks like it might be good news for those looking to catch more Academy games, though I hope they don’t paywall them when they could just stream them on YT like many others.

Can't help but feel it's gonna be a subscription thing, Netflix-esque. Hope I'm wrong.

Of course it will be.
They'll just alienate the fanbase further and probably have to make some sort of apology or change things.
It's so short-sighted.
