Really poor overall. We had the ball for large periods but done absolutely nothing with it, don’t think their keeper made a legitimate save all game. Won’t have done any favours for players trying to assess any scouts looking for loan deals.
Yeah a frustrating one. I think that’s their first defeat in 9 though? So maybe more of a blip. Like I said I don’t follow them as closely as I’d like to be able to. I think the likes of White and Bowden could be good options for FL clubs who play in the right way for those players. I’ve seen more of White but I like both of them in terms of finding space and how they strike the ball. Devine is going to suffer from a lack of positional certainty IMO. I don’t know if he’s a 10 or an 8. Then again he’s still so young that it’s less of an issue now but might be in a couple of years if it isn’t resolved.
This looks like it might be good news for those looking to catch more Academy games, though I hope they don’t paywall them when they could just stream them on YT like many others.
