To be fair chazz if what we are told is true then terry already knows the outcome. Why does acun need to be in the country to release a statement?

Acun might be a media guy but nobody can totally control the media. Maybe he is sorry about the reports leaked yesterday but not sure what he could do about it, and if we want an owner who makes money by travelling the world we might have to accept he's not sitting in an office on Anlaby Road so he can pop into the club everyday. I'm not that happy about sacking McCann now but got to believe if it's happening Acun will want to do it in the right way, if that's at all possible. Everybody seems to think he has some integrity so maybe we should cut him some slack on this at the moment.

I’m not actually sure what people are saying Acun has done wrong. He’s allegedly sorted out a payoff with Grant, which is fine.
Only him and Grant know the details....we know the speculation.

When I got the bullet we all knew it was coming but still had to wait
I was last one of the day too go in
Well I woulda been but my mate was last but one and he dragged the boss over the table by his tie and had to be restrained <laugh>
So I had to go back the next day
He didn’t half have a croaky voice when he sacked me
I kept saying sorry what was that again

the **** had two minders with him other wise I’d have pulled his tie anarl

I thought that we had employed a CEO. surely its his job to do any firing.... How many chairman normally get involved in that part of a business..

They are just following the current BBC policy at HQ regardless if deserved or not , the regional guys follow London lead and approaches , even Peter Levy did it fir the first year or two of the Brexit stuff ! The world has become very sensationalist and this is another example .

This was coming from the Turkish Media too. You can’t expect the UK media to ignore it. I wasn’t a big fan of Grant’s, but the club need to treat Grant with some decency here.

What are the club doing wrong? Grants got a contract to do a job and he's doing that job until told otherwise. The media are the ones who should be treating grant with respect and decency.

When I got bombed out the boss was that vindictive staff were left in the dark as to why , but my wife to be who worked there who he did respect went to his office and basically insisted he sent out an e mail explaining that I had done nothing wrong - he didn’t like it at all but his mother made him do it because she valued my wife . You want to leave with dignity and reputation if you can - but based on my time with the lads of the seventies watching city I nearly left with another rep !!

With respect, you’ve been on here sharing confidential information, gathered from untrustworthy sources, since last year. You’ve also been quite clear in sharing that McCann was on his way & a compensation package had been in place since at least last November that he was more than happy with.

Maybe you should be treating McCann & the new owners with some respect & decency.

It’s the BBC’s job to share information, what’s your motivation?
