You and him may be right and you may be wrong. There is a fair few different ways this could have all been financed and they only thing we can probably almost be certain of is that it will be done in the way the benefits Acun etc the most

Loans are by far the best way to structure a deal like this, which is why I’m certain that’s the way it will be structured.

Probs the most simple way to look at it is if you buy a car on finance the debt/finance is on the car. But if you take a bank loan and buy the car with that then the car is debt/finance free. You've still borrowed the money but the car ( or in our case the club ) is finance/debt free. You ( or in our case the new owners ) still has the debt to pay back but it isn't secured against the car ( the club )

Again that is just a really simplistic way of putting it

I agree and I'm sure he won't have done it any other way. But where and how that loan is secured is the key. I'm almost certain when we see the accounts it will show in some way that the debt is on the club. But nobody bar acun etc know for certain

And it doesn't change the fact that the allams can quite rightly say that they sold us debt free with money in the bank. What anyone does after they hand the keys over has sod all to do with them.

But the accounts would still show the debt regardless of source or origin.

The club accounts would only show it if it's secured against the club?. Acun could have used another way to raise the money from his TV channel to borrowing from a friend like AP did ( very unlikely due to the numbers involved, but could still happen ). It's doubtful but we could very well still be a debt free club.

Absofuckinglutley..... I've opened a new thread for you.... we had debt for 11 ****ing years, we lived with it, this man has been in the building for 4 days and you want to know how he can afford it.... its a football thread not the ****ing FSA....

I may have missed it, but please point me to the post where I have questioned or said I want to know how he can afford it?

Edit... I'm sure we've been in debt for way more then 11yrs

In the scenario it would likely be secured against the club even if the it was a personal loan. So would still be shown on the accounts
But this isn’t my area of expertise, others on here know far far more than me!

Mine neither, so I'm just going to leave it. I honestly couldn't care how Acun has done it, the simple and most Important fact is that he has.

If you'd tried several times to end it then TOM wouldn't have had a post to respond to would he... Anyway it's done and the allams have gone. Forget about them ( as your feelings for them is how all this started in the first place )

No it didn't! It started from pointing out that his (hopefully final interview) was full of BS, lies and twisted versions of reality. FACTS, not my feelings. Let's please leave it there, and hope we never again hear him talking about 'our' club.
