Beckford is good fun to watch and he is a great player..
He will score you 21 but be warned will miss another 80+.
PS
As Leicester are so keen on emulating Leeds,
Just remember this order and it will make the next 2 years less painfull:
1st. Sell cheap (Done - ps. thanks for Gradel),
2nd. Build Debts (Done),
3rd. Buy Big (Done),
4th. Fail to deliver (In Progress),
5th. Panic (Due Xmas 2011),
6th. Sack Manager & pay him off (Early 2012),
7th. Hire Ex England Manager (Done once repeat if required),
8th. Sell cheap again (Summer 2012),
9th. Panic as debts too high (Winter 2012),
10th. Buyout (Summer 2013),
11th. Administration (Winter 2013),
12th. Find a fall guy - Goldfish are always useful!!!
13th. Relegation (Summer 2014).
14th. Raise from the flames, wiser and able to see next club making same mistakes.
15th. Post ironic message on their website - You will find it funny - but they won't realise your right....

this coming from ... who owns our club master bates? leeds... the paul daniels of finance..
this coming from ... who owns our club master bates? leeds... the paul daniels of finance..
Difference being we have no delusions about the intentions of our owners. We know Bates is a crook trying to bleed the club dry and it's why we protest.

Its all meant in jest, it was nice to see Leicester have some hope over the Summer, you deserve it after having some hard times like us.
Plus I never said stages 16 to 20 were very nice, but good news once Ken has sold us he can come and save you.....

Oh yes, our owners have spent 20m of their own money. They clearly don't want to succeed.![]()
You genuinely believe they're not going to get bored after season after season of underperforming? They've just sacked the manager that gave your club pulling power when it comes to players, and even then the only ones you could get were mediocre. They don't strike me as patient.
Which players are mediocre? Sven has been sacked because a good squad is under-performing. And I thought Sven was s***? Now you admit he has the ability to attract good players.
The fact that the board has acted this swiftly shows that they would not be content with a play-off finish, for which we were on course. Whether this was the right decision will become clear soon enough.
The false concern of other clubs fans is touching... you should all be in as bad a shape as us....im sure we will stagger on somehow..
Based on the fact you haven't once sat in the play off spots this season, I'd have said you were on course for an upper mid table finish. It's also possible that Sven was sacked because he was clueless in the transfer market and now you can't find any consistency because he has no idea what to do with the players he's picked out - mostly because there was no real plan. Another manager might do better, they might do worse. But your whole club screams average.
We got off to a bad start whilst the team was gelling and we were rising up the table. We were getting good results against the better teams, and average teams taking up spots above us (Leeds, Palace, Derby, Hull) will soon run out of steam.
And yes, beating top of the league and drawing away at second does really scream average. Which good teams have you beat so far?
Those 2 results don't scream average, but losing at home to Millwall, Bristol (bottom of the league! Bottom!) and Reading screams below average. We had a ****ter start than you and now we're screaming up the league and I don't see us stopping - we're on fire, still getting results from **** performances.
In fact, just for the sake of making a mug out of you, I'm going to go out on a limb and say we'll get at LEAST a point from your place. If we're so "average" and you're so "amazing", it should be a guaranteed 3 points, right? Especially since Andy Lonergan is out until december - should give you a decent shout at getting a consolation goal. That's if your players don't forget what to do in the final third.
But you haven't beat anyone good! Therefore - Leeds = false position.
Bristol was very early on, the team barely knew each other. Millwall was so unacceptable, it cost the manager his job.
I don't know how you can predict future results when we don't even know who our manager will be! I bet Middlesboro thought they'd turn Forest over too...before Cotterill came in.
It's not concern, it's mocking the weak. Cruel? Maybe, but I get a kick out of it when I've nothing better to do.
Hull and Palace, like Leeds, will drop off.
And if we're doing so badly and you're doing so well, why is there only 2 points between us?!
So I can't predict the future, but you can?
What makes you think any of those 3 teams will drop off? At *least* Hull and Leeds are valid play off contenders - if they aren't, who are? I can only think of yourselves (I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, for now - I personally think you'll miss out), Middlesbrough, West Ham and Southampton, and 2 of those will finish in the autos. So who are the other two? If not us, if not Hull, who else? I suppose Derby, but I've heard some of your lot saying they'll drop off as well. Cardiff are a joke. Nottingham Forest are a joke.
We have a game in hand against a knackered Birmingham who will have played twice in 6 days before we arrive in town. Both teams have momentum so I can't call that one but I can see us getting points from it.
If any of the likely play off candidates are looking like dropping away from serious contention, it's you. No consistency, players who don't want to work for each other and no manager. The no manager alone will set you back at least a month, and your progress hasn't exactly been great.
