We moan at him for being too creative.

He plays the killer ball too early for our liking.

He can make any pass you want though, his vision is exceptional as well.

The criticism of King is that he goes missing for large chunks of games. The criticism of Wellens is that he doesn't get forward or shoot enough. Nobody can fault Wellens work effort or King as an attacking force. If the pair of them had both of these qualities, the'd have been snapped up by the Premier League before now.

creativeness is based on assists! if a player presents a player with a goalscoring opportunity then thats proved how creative a player can be! But your too deluded to see past a blue shirt! What do you think creative means, a player that dazzles the fans with his skill? his abillity to play a ball from side to side! Bollocks, creative is all about unlocking a defence with precision and abillity to do things other footballers may not be able to, and if a player with good calibre can put a ball in between a defence to provide a goal scoring opportunity then thats what its all about! Jonny howson does exactly what Wellens does and still bangs them in from a similar role! To be the best in the championship then you must be good enough to step it up in the prem? problem you have with him, is age, abillity and what could he do if playing up there! Most likely when you go up, wellens won't be in your lineup!!

    Creativity is about many things.

Skills, passing, flair, movement, dribbling and technique.

Steve Howard got millions of assists in league 1.

Is he creative? No, that was down to the creativity of our midfield to put the strikers in positions to score using the skills I have listed above.

Creativity means to do something different to get to a goalscoring situation, Wellens provides backheels, flicks and chips to get behind the defence.

He also moves into positions using his creativity to find positions from which he can create that killer pass.

    Creativity isn't about assists.

    Also, for the record.

Top of that assist league is Adel Taarabt. He was the most creative player (and probably the most creative since the renaming of the Championship) at this level last season.

But, second was Grant Holt. Was he creative? No chance.

You can create millions of assists from having a player that can score goals by playing alongside of you. That isn't down to the creativity of the guy who got the assist. It's down to the creativity of the player who managed to work his way into a goalscoring position.

Now please, you clearly don't know what you're on about so how about ****ing off?

Hang on, so if it's based on assists, unconverted chances created don't count?

    Silly argument.

I can't really add anything more to what Andy's said.

    Back on to Beckford......

I'm going to hazard a guess at 16. I think that would be good for a player who missed pre-season with the team and will inevitably take a few games to gel with us. Ultimately, the scoring should not fall solely on Beckford and Nugent's backs; we should have goals from all over the park - King, Gally, Vassell, Fernandes, Wellens, Bamba, Mills, Danns, etc. If we don't go up this year, then you could certainly be looking at 25+ next season, whereas if we do go up then given a full season at PL level I reckon he could score between 10 and 15 <ok>

I'm exicited more by this signing than Maynard! if he gets off to a good start at Barnsley then i reckon 25 for the season. If like many Leeds fans tells us he converts 1 in 3 chances then 15 for me. Lets see what formation we play? 4-4-2 away from home will suit a better chance for a win and Beckford.

You're right. The Leeds fan is probably just trying to wind you up. I can't believe he really thinks creativity is just based on assists!

I hope it's 4-4-2 indefinitely tbh. 4-3-3/4-5-1 simply will not work with the players we have.

Beckford is good fun to watch and he is a great player..
He will score you 21 but be warned will miss another 80+.

    PS

As Leicester are so keen on emulating Leeds,

Just remember this order and it will make the next 2 years less painfull:

1st. Sell cheap (Done - ps. thanks for Gradel), <gift>
    2nd. Build Debts (Done), :emoticon-0164-cash:
    3rd. Buy Big (Done), :emoticon-0148-yes:
4th. Fail to deliver (In Progress), <applause>
    5th. Panic (Due Xmas 2011), :emoticon-0184-tmi:
6th. Sack Manager & pay him off (Early 2012), :emoticon-0150-hands
7th. Hire Ex England Manager (Done once repeat if required),
    8th. Sell cheap again (Summer 2012), <gift>
9th. Panic as debts too high (Winter 2012), :emoticon-0106-cryin
    10th. Buyout (Summer 2013), :bandit:
    11th. Administration (Winter 2013),
12th. Find a fall guy - Goldfish are always useful!!!
    13th. Relegation (Summer 2014). :emoticon-0172-mooni
14th. Raise from the flames, wiser and able to see next club making same mistakes.
15th. Post ironic message on their website - You will find it funny - but they won't realise your right....

    Well that made me chuckle

Be warned though, just because you failed doesn't mean we will, there's no evidence to suggest we are more likely to have financial problems than anyone else, in fact it's less likely

And if Beckford missed 80 chances in a season you wouldn't have worshipped him like you did, not a chance.
