I'm inclined to think he's thinking quite simplistically about the position the Allams sold the club, rather than the position we're currently in.

The point was whether we were debt free now or not, I don't really give a **** if we were momentarily debt free at the point of sale.

Uh, the debt replacing the debt the club owed to the Allams?

What sort of circular logic are you trying to work?

As you indicated in your previous post, while we may have been debt free at the point of sale, the debt to the Allams was merely replaced with debt to a financial institution.
 
there was a guy in the office I worked in Paternoster Square in London in the 80s and every morning at about 9 he would put his paper under his arm, walk by the desks and say EMC - which stood for Early Morning Crap
Please tell me he never left anything like this floating around..
