Here we go again, Norwich have not won away in the league since the end of the Farke era. Norwich won last weekend and this one really can be called a 'six pointer' in the Premier League relegation mini-league.

Norwich are still missing Normann and Gilmore. Hanley will be taking painkilling injections to get him through another game. Watford are missing three long term and three through international call-ups, though have begun strengthening in the transfer window already.

Will Norwich make it two from two? (managers that is). Currently yo-yo-ing together Norwich have won 42 times, drawn 29 and lost 32 times. However recently it has been all Watford with Norwich's last win coming in May 2016.

I hope the score is the same, but I think the pitch will be a bit better than this!

Great thread, nice one

Worried about this. I thought we got lucky last week and this has the potential to burst our bubble v quickly, but even a win doesn’t save us. A lot to lose.

Sorry to be depressing.

Can I ask a question please?

What's the significance of the 'Reading' option on the 'Who Will Win?' poll we see for every game?

The silence from CR makes me think Krul is out and will be for a while. This is awful luck after such an uplifting victory. Krul is so important in terms of what he gives the side mentally.

If Krul is out, I wonder if we'll se McGovern in goal this time.

Hello Chris - sorry have only just noticed that you’re relatively new.

It’s a forum in joke, which to be honest I have completely forgotten. There was always an option to vote for another team winning (it didn’t always use to be Reading I think but has been recently).

It’s the sort of joke I like because I knew I once understood it but now it’s just comforting.

During the first Farke promotion season I did all the Match day threads .

I cocked up and thought we had Reading the next game .

When I corrected the title I couldn't remove Reading from the Poll and a few posters voted for Reading .
We won and next game a few people were taking the piss asking for the Reading option.
It became a superstition so I kept it for the rest of the season for luck and we won the League.

It's stupid but we are easily amused

Ah. Thanks, Rob. Glad I wasn't missing anything glaringly obvious, and thanks for taking the time to reply :)

Excellent, Duncan. Thanks! Its a nice, quirky and typically Norwich tradition to maintain <laugh>

I think I can remember why , & yes it was always Reading.

Well, anyway. Let’s hope the Everton win gives us a shot in the arm for this fixture.

Incidentally, you should try one of those, Dunc - or even 3

If you make past 9 boosters without having a stroke or your heart blowing out I may consider it .
