Aye and knowing our luck his stents would collapse within 1 training session and that will be that. I was okay with the window coming around and for first 2 weeks was alright with it, but spending so much time ****ing about over a few million quid is starting to do my tits in now. You can't make out your the richest wealth fund in the world one minute then expect people to give you players on the cheap the next.

Targets and deals should have been arranged prior to window opening not fannying about going from one player to the next every 2 hours.
I do wonder whether they have been a tad too ambitious (makes a nice change tbh) with some of the transfer targets. I do not think they have been fannying about though. This was always going to be difficult but they will get it right. We are seeing that you cannot chuck money at the problem AND how many superstar players want to play for a manager like Eddie Howe?

JUST.

BUY.

****ING.

MIDFIELDER.

It's becoming abundantly clear that Eddie Howe doesn't think we need cms.

Joelinton can play there but shelvey is the biggest problem at this club and Howe wants to continue to put him above everything and everyone

I did say all this right at the start of the window and again I got absolutely hammered. So I’m going to be careful what I say.

But the warning signs of them taking to long and not acting fast (no DoF) and no planned early signings for the right players (manager making the right decisions) was all there but a lot of people where in denial.

There is time for this to be salvaged but this window was a very important one if they wanted to press on but ultimately their lack of speed may derail the plans for an extra 2 years.

PIF could do one and we could end up doing a Sunderland.

Which in turn will have dire effect on FFP unless its done away with.

I'm not to fussed at the lack of signings but its more the fact it's the wrong ones so far - Trippier I get - statement signing and hopefully boost others confidence of coming in as well but was not a must have - delighted with him tbh though. Wood just completely wrong choice for me. So many other strikers I'd have gone for tbh, Idah at Norwich, Armstrong, thrown 25m at Brentford to bring Toney back, Chile striker at Blackburn etc etc etc all under 25y/o and would do the same job as Wood and been good for a season in the championship.

CB we really need to get on with, should have been lined up for the opening week of the window along with Trippier but now we need one if not 2 through the door for Leeds at the weekend regardless. Pay what we need to, get them in and then CM next on the urgency list.
