He'd be stupid not to take the Everton job, should it be offered. It depends on what they want to do, and what direction they wish to go in
They are like we have been. Hoying out managers regularly might be easy, and seem the right thing to do It might sometines actually be the right thing to do. But the effect is the same; to make managers think twice before taking the job, and then only really taking it for the pay off. Never expected Benitez to work there, though they do need a longer term bloke . I wonder what BSA would have done with half the money that has been chucked around since he was sacked. I'd bet my house they wouldn't be slumming it in the bottom bit of the PL. Since Moshir took control they have behaved like that lot. Always needing a " name" or a glamour signing. It doesn't work
He will probably cruise straight into PSG when Poch ****s off for Man Utd. Rafa is another one on the merry go round
Chopping and changing managers every year is madness. Agree sometimes, like with Benitez, it will never work. But then the people that make the appointment never get the sack, just free reign to try again. If you keep appointing managers only to sack them you are failing at your own job.
Didn't they hound him out? I'm sure that'll go down like a lead balloon. Can't see the Belgian FA wanting to rid their manager, in a world cup year as well. Interesting though, and again Lampard being overlooked for a role.
When you look at the list of candidates to manage Everton it is pretty pathetic isnt it. I dont think there is a strong set of management choices out there right now. When Martinez is first pick it says it all. Even looking in the championship there doesnt look to me like many will step up. Russell Martin is probably the one I would fancy to be top flight. Certainly when you look at the list of people in jobs it isnt very inspiring. If I were Everton I might be tempted to give Bilic a shot. I always thought he was decent for Croatia. I could see him and Ferguson at least working together.
What a massive kick in the teeth for Benitez ... ... Everton believe a man with virtually no experience can do a better job
